Due to Closing Down:
All relevant UK consumer and trading laws now apply as most of our terms and conditions.
He appears to be breaking the law by including this in his Terms and Conditions:
6. All faulty items may be returned within 30 days (see exception '7'). After this period, the remaining 11 months shall be redeemable through relevant service centres
That is breaking the Sales of Goods Act by absolving himself from having to deal with any faulty goods within the first year. He is responsible for the faulty goods , not the "service centre"What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

But they give Trading Standards a fright,
He dreams of buying all the stars,

These state companies can't advertise goods that don’t exist, or offering just a few items at the advertised price with no hope of meeting the demand. Trading Standards would investigate issues like this.

Agreed,
(Although I should be) Im not very 'up to date' in the consumer protection regs, but i'm pretty certain that by making an "Invitation to Purchase Products' (i.e presenting the product on a website) a seller cannot then refuse to take an order for that product, whether it is available from stock or not. If there is no stock to sell, the seller is obliged to remove the invitation to purchase from the website, or make it clear in the item description that the product is temporarily unavailable.
By advertising gift cards on the website, GC is inviting consumers to purchase a product which he cannot supply, and also accepting an intention of payment for the unavailable products (Note intention of payment: An uncashed cheque, for example, is classed as a payment. the onus is then on the buyer to exchange that cheque for the funds).
GC cannot simply say that by tearing up a cheque he hasn't accepted a payment: It is HIS responsibility to ensure that a consumer is blocked from implementing a payment if goods are not available. By simply stating that he will tear up the cheque is ludicrous!Profit=sanity
{Removed by Forum team};25098267]If you lot hadn't bloody removed all of my ability to control out of stock purchases etc etc maybe i would be able to have something more automated so don't even go there when it's something you've decided to happen yourselves. Not me!
It's your website, I fail to see how anybody else is to blame? If you can't sell an item, then remove it from your website - it seems quite simple to me?0 -
{Removed by Forum team};25097751]The Premier League isn't classed as a division.
But it's the equivalent to the old first division. The progression of promoted teams is League 1 to Championship League to Premier League. In the old days it was League Division 3 to League Division 2 to League Division 1. So technically the same. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

Cool story bro'. Blame us for your failed business.
You started a small company, selling the odd mobile phone and accessory. Anyone can do that on eBay. When things grew, and you had to actually take responsibility, manage procedures, care about P&Ls, and other things that business people do, your business skills (or lack of) truely showed.
You turned to pathetic T&Cs, etc etc to con people out of money because you were so desperate. You got caught. You compare yourself to Richard Branson. You show yourself as dillusional, dishonest, and the fact that you keep trying to justify yourself suggests that you are still very, very desperate.
Go start a new venture elsewhere. You've already failed quite hard on this one and you're the laughing stock of all of your friends, family, school, college, forums, newspapers, etc etc.
Good luck and do things properly this time.0 -

I can point out loads of times when you have squirmed out of things you got wrong. Like STILL not filing your accounts with Companies House. And having the crapiest terms and conditions ever.Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -

Why am I wrong? League 1 is the third tier of English football, so that make it the equivalent of the old Third Division. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0
