"I am offering to pay, if the account is opened again, over £3,000 for
which the account is in debt (the company is limited in liability and
has no money in company bank accounts so the debts cannot be paid any
other way) - I AM OFFERING TO OPEN BACK UP, ONLY CHARGE WHEN GOODS ARE SHIPPED AND REPAY THE DEBTS OUT OF MY POCKET
I offered to work as hard as possible to resolve all disputes! ( now
    done anyway)
The money made is spent on child education! Not luxury cars etc"

    <sniff>

    Moving, innit.
He employs four people, pays himself £500 a month and is saving for a speedboat.

Perhaps 6 of his staff were hiding when he last counted?

I thought I should provide some quotes from the HMRC website:

'You MUST register for VAT when -
The value of your taxable supplies exceeds the registration threshold-

If the value of your taxable supplies in the past 12 months or less has exceeded the current VAT registration threshold of £67,000'

    Also:

'If you deliberately avoid registering for VAT, you may be liable to a penalty equal to the amount of VAT you should have paid us. For serious offences the matter will be investigated and we may bring criminal proceedings. Notice 700 The VAT Guide gives more information about this.'

    This is taken from direct.gov.uk:

If you know someone whose business is not registered for tax call the Tax Evasion Hotline on 0800 788 887 (open Monday to Friday from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm, Saturday and Sunday 8.00 am to 4.00 pm) and HMRC will do something about it. You don't need to leave your name and address.

All the information will be looked at seriously to determine the most appropriate action. What HMRC will be able to do might depend on how much information you can give, so it's important to provide as many specific details as possible.

Now, the Echo article of 2 December 2008, states: "So I can say that in two years I’ve built up a company with a six figure turnover on the back of 50p,” he [Name removed by Forum Team] says. It also states: "I have a staff of four,” says the teenager nonchalantly, “who look after the day to day running..."

It also states: 'Surely, though, school must seem a bit irrelevant to someone who is making more money than the head of the local education authority?'

So with a six figure turnover and 4 staff, surely he should be VAT registered??

Why do I have the sneaking suspicion all of this is Mum & Dad Carol and David, who use their son as a shield?

Anyway, I digress, it is time for a quick recap:

    1) Barclays Merchant Services, Protx, Google Checkout and PayPal have all pulled the plug; however, the Early Learning Centre is considering offering merchant services and Primark will provide shellsuits for the whole family

    2) [Name removed by Forum Team] IS the guy who sells DVDs on fonejacker; David [Name removed by Forum Team] is George Odegwango

    3) David [Name removed by Forum Team] plays the dad in Shameless

    4) When he is alone in the house, [Name removed by Forum Team] likes to dress up in his sister's clothes and pretend he is "Serena Thompson" from "Newcastle"

    5) At the Benfleet Charity Fun Fair, [Name removed by Forum Team] 's stall offered kisses for between £100 and £150 each; only 1 complaint per girl was allowed.

    6) [Name removed by Forum Team] 's mum is terribly concerned about the rustling sound that eminates from [Name removed by Forum Team] 's bedroom every morning; when confronted, [Name removed by Forum Team] says that Captain Kirk keeps beeming these Nigerians into his room

    7) David [Name removed by Forum Team] is angry that his benefits cheque makes no allowance for the credit crunch

    8) David and [Name removed by Forum Team] appear on Mastermind with the Specialist subject: "Unable to write a sentence without putting at least 3 lies into it"; they lose on account of getting "null points" in the General Knowledge section and complain to an indipinint traned silicitir

    9) [Name removed by Forum Team] is a virgin, but tells his mates at school he has done it loads of times.

Everybody help lock up this thieving, lying scumbag and his thieving, lying scumbag dad for a long, long time and hound them into bankruptcy on the back of an Inland Revenue investigation.

Oh [Name removed by Forum Team]: When you eventually get out of jail, the local chicken factory always needs pluckers.
