I have to admit even I am getting dubious by the lack of police action, its all well saying post your complaints to some detective.

Its doubly just as well Dinah recommending him as legit, the truth is, nothing more is ever acknowledged, said or done about it, and the whole saga just continues to go on and on.

Many of us aren't 100% convinced this is a real detective and with good reason. (there's just no feedback).

How can we be sure [Name removed by Forum Team] has not pulled the wool over Dinah's eyes on this matter, how can anyone be sure of anything regarding the [Name removed by Forum Team] Soap Opera, we are no further forward than we were 6 Months ago on this matter.

Totally agree: I sent another email to Simon Dovaston asking him to confirm that there will never be any charges against this scum. Again no reply.

I suspect Simon Dovaston's (if he actually exists) email address is somehow rerouted to legal@gcspcs.co.uk.

To be fair to DS Dovaston, isn't he bound by the law so he can't say anything about an ongoing investigation? But I thought the law does allow the police to confirm that they are investigating?

Any case involving financial irregularities do seem to take a very long time to resolve. Remember the FarePack Christmas hamper case? I believe enquiries about that are still ongoing, even though this happened nearly 18 months ago. Also, it was only last week that a director of the failed TV shopping channel One TV (which closed down over 2 years ago) was finally given an order banning him from being company director.

Lets hope that things move faster with the [Name removed by Forum Team] enquiries.

Re the threats - perhaps these should be reported to your local police station and then also inform them re PC Donovan. These threats are serious. Also highlight delay in dealing with said threats.

Also, if you want to try taking out an injunction v Mr [Name removed by Forum Team] due to threats, it may be possible to do yourself or perhaps on no win no fee basis and the solicitor will pursue Mr [Name removed by Forum Team] for costs.

Agree that some of the things that are being posted against Mr [Name removed by Forum Team] are excessive, but what Mr [Name removed by Forum Team] needs to realise is that it is not the people who are posting on this thread that he needs to worry about. I suggest he google 'scambaiter'. Some of those would use him as a warm up. If I knew any of them IRL I would call them 'Sir'.

Isn't that yet another illegal action by [Name removed by Forum Team] ? I thought you had to be able to opt out of this by the use of a tick box or is it ok under australian law?
