how long does it take between applying for your flight and them to email to say they aren;t available (or, if luck should have it, that your application is successful)0

E-mails bounced back, again! Will try your address now. The more I think about this the more annoying it is!
I've just looked at the confirmation letter and even the dates on that are the first set :mad:0 -
i have just phoned jet2 and when you say its about competition they put you through to competition answer machine so i have left a message. i have not had email from them yet and not expecting one apart from some more of these:::::

thats the 2nd email i have had like this and wont get my next lot that i put in yesterday because some1 at jet2 has now realised the scottish holidays are different dates. thats prob why they have changed T&Cs dates:mad:

Now I'm getting very annoyed with trying to get answers about my flight grrrrrr
The first request I put down was the 6th March, this is in 3 weeks time and I want to book my hubby and little girl on the flight too. I've queried the request over the phone as I've still no confirmation as to whether I've got a flight or not and all I keep getting told is 'sorry mam it can take up to 21 working days' now we fly in 15 working days how do they not understand this?
I'm fed up of talking to someone who doesn't understand :mad:
Oh and the email has just been returned undeliverable
Think I'm just going to book with someone else and let the flight go

It's outrageous that they've changed the dates. As you say, on the confirmation letter which i'm holding in front of me, it quite clearly states that all of June, and the first 17 days of July are eligible periods.
And i'm p**ed off to hear they've removed Sardinia from the choice of destinations - that was where i wanted to go! :mad:
I wonder if the reason they'll give is that all the competition flights allocated for Sardinia have already been claimed? If so, i highly doubt it.
So much for the '45' element of the competition's publicity!0 -

That's what i was wondering too. I'm a big believer in going straight to the top man/woman, whenever possible. Or someone near the top.
So much of complaint mail is filtered out that companies continue giving [EMAIL="!!!!py"]!!!!py[/EMAIL] service, ignorant of how aggrieved their customers feel.
A few weeks ago I was getting no responses to my emails to the arts & education dept (about my son's guitar lessons), so the next email i sent them i cc'ed it to the head of the council. guess what - a result - and in less than half an hour!0 -

I might even put it in writing.
Someone on the radio recently was giving tips on howto get your letters through to the person in charge. One thng that made me smile was the following:
Make it look very personal. Pink envelope, heart on the back, 'Private' & 'Personal' written on it, etc. Secretaries and PAs are very nervous about opening and dealing with such mail, and it has much higher chance of being opened by the person to whom it is addressed.
