How did the big clean go Lenny?YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)
really....it's not hard to understand :T0 -
I've just had a quick google and it sounds interesting. I was going to ask my psychiatrist about it until I read the bit about mainstream doctors not believing in it. I might have a look at getting some books about it though.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

Re school, they shouldn't be just aiming for the level 5's and should be boosting everyone who needs it, get hold of every past paper you can and they are really easy to sort out and it may just be tiny things he is missing out like two step problems or tiny mistakes like missing an = sign. They will mark down for things like that even missing decimal points out, if he gets the correct answer and misses them out they will mark it as incorrect.
Thanks Bob. Could you give me an idea of where on the net? Lou suggested BBC so I'll look there. Not sure where to find old SAT papersIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

I was worried about getting too tired going to the Leeds meet, but I was fine. People went to the bar for me and we were close to my bus stop. I'm a little concerned about Manchester cos I'm not sure how close the pub is to the train station, but I can always come home early if I start to flag.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

I think CBT does help, because in some situations, you CAN'T address the issue, because it's something you can't control or change - all you can do is change how you react to it. And I think that's what CBT tries to help you do."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Thanks Snaggles, that's what my sister says too (she's had it and it helped her a lot). I think I'm just the kind of person that likes to know everything, and I'd like to know what caused all my problems. I think half of my problem though is just letting go and accepting how things are and moving on.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

Its for DS Lou, he's doing mock SATs this week, but initial indications are that he's done appallingly on the first one, English.
I dont know how to motivate him to try and improve things in time for the real ones in May

Yes Thanks Snags - something which a friend suggested the other day -which I think might help me is- when my Mum asks me something or tries to manipulate me- I should pause and think before responding. I need to be more evasive & less truthful. DEFINITELY need to be MUCH more assertive with her.Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0
