I imagine the reason they are able to do it so cheaply is because everyone else is vastly over charging when it comes to the hire of covers.
In respect of not being able to take credit card payments, I can understand why they don't do this, if they did, they would have to have a merchant terminal and pay a hefty proportion of the payments made via it in charges etc, maybe thats one of the reasons they can do it cheaply, because they are keeping their costs down in respect of taking payments.
I had a conversation with my other half in respect of what would happen if for any reason it all turned out to be dodgy and we have decided that as its not costing us a lot (under £100) if we end up losing out, we end up losing out and thats that. Sometimes you have to speculate to accumulate I guess, the savings are massive afterall.
Oh, and they said they are posting my receipt this week so I will let you know when it arrives!
EDIT - You can also pay by Paypal, which you can fund with your credit card, so if you are worried, then just do it that way!
I've just e-mailed them and they will not accept paypal! Finally decided to start growing up when it comes to money!:j

I just thought I would warn you about this 'cheap' website, I havent even had a reply, my order was for 20 chair covers, funnily enough my friend who sent hers, with an order of 160 got a reply quickly, not only that the woman wants to charge her £50 for setting up.
So instead of it being £80, its £130. Not only that she wants a bank transfer in full.
My friend is going with her gut feeling and booking elsewhereDebt free wannabe

Hi there,
Have you received your receipt yet? And hope you don't mind but how did you pay for the covers? Finally decided to start growing up when it comes to money!:j

No not received receipt but then again I haven't been at home for a few days so it could be waiting for me.
I paid £90 in all for 150 covers and 15 table runners.
Cookie - It does say on the special offer that to take it up, you have to pay in full when booking. I am hoping that my gut instinct is right, but feeling a little less satisfied by it all now. If it comes to the worst, I have their address....0 -

I feel the same as you. I paid £70 yesterday for 140 chair covers and sashes. I hope that the company is ligitimate! They e-mailed me this morning saying thank you for the payment and they would send me written confirmation in the next few days.
But if they turn out to be dodgy then it's a lesson learnt!! And will serve me right for trying to get the biggest bargain!
Will you keep me informed of when/if you receive your receipt and I will do the same.
Many thanks,Finally decided to start growing up when it comes to money!:j

I am keeping my fingers crossed for everyone. But adding 50 pounds on for DIY option seemed a bit odd. Did anyone else choose that option?
Paying in full is fine, especially with the good offer on. But bank transfer only seemed a bit odd, especially as to begin with they had a paypal option thereDebt free wannabe

Because my venue is within the same area that the company is based, it meant that I did not have to pay any extra for delivery and set up.
So I only paid £70 for 140 chairs & sashes.
I will keep you updated! Finally decided to start growing up when it comes to money!:j
