    Hi All

I'm looking for 200 gallons of heating oil, best price here in Fermanagh is £400 from Lakeland fuels, does anyone know of any cheaper oil companies that cover the Fermanagh area?

First of all, try http://www.cheapestoil.co.uk/ and if that doesn't help there's always Yellow Pages and the telephone.

The price of heating oil is fairly rocketing, I dread the thought of refilling!

What a useful post! I presume by your posting that you have not read Martins' message about posting on this website.

What is wrong with ordering oil a week before Christmas? When I ordered the oil it was not "after bad weather" as there had been no bad weather at that stage.

It's because every man & his dog orders oil in the run up to xmas, even if they don't want it(just in case). This year people have left it late to order because the weather has been mild. Now because most people want there tanks topped up before xmas the oil companies can't cope & then we had the snow before xmas & it made things worse & all you get is whinging customers saying you have let me down. A bit of forward planning would not go amiss.
Another thing if people who live down small lanes/tracks/driveways etc want deliveries at least they could help clear a way to their property instead of saying to the drivers who won't go down these places for fear of getting stuck ''i don't see what the problem is i get my car in & out every day'':rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
if i had known then what i know now

Absolute drivel! I ordered the week before Christmas and had delivery the following day, as per usual.

You were one of the lucky ones then, last sat i was still delivering some orders from december. If you get a delivery the next day all the time, the company obviously cannot be busy then:rolleyes:

Tell me who you deliver for so as I can make a note never to use them then!

Btw, I don't put it down to luck, but rather good customer service and management.

This is the first time I have ever ordered oil in December. Nicholl Oils appears to be the only lorry that cannot get to my property as I have seen numerous lorries going past my property daily. What I am complaining about is the fact that Nicholl Oils did not telephone me to keep me up to date with what was happening about my order.

Surely the point is Boilerjuice state that delivery will be made in 3-6 working days. This has not happened in this case but it was reasonable for the customer to expect it.

I've had Carlisle Fuels deliver to me for Boilerjuice in the past too.
