Oil is $86.36 today, experts predict with the current trend it will drop to $57 by the end of the year. But then the same experts predicted $200 in July

Does anyone know when the cost of crude oil futures are reflected in the cost of home heating oil?

Should we be expecting a big price drop in the next few weeks?

This chart shows the price of Brent crude over the past year or so and as you can see the current price is roughly what it was last August.

I know I paid £330 for 1000 litres back then so surely it has to get pretty close that soon?

    Who knows:confused:

Ive a five bedroom detached house right up on the north coast (and Im sure Im also living in a wind tunnel it can be that strong )and we would use about 3000 ltrs a year. Thats not costing coal and logs
But then I do have elderly parents who sit around all day and feel the cold
