It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.

I just added 2 more £1 coins to my £500 sealed tin, it's feeling pretty heavy now! must be nearly half full!
    I'm stuffing notes in too!
but should I spend it on..
1, new bathroom - shower is awful, barely a dribble and the whole rooom is a mess!
2, new boiler - current one is circa 1970's and a new efficient one would rid us of the emersion tank and save us some dosh!
3, cavity wall and roof insulation

Waaa, no-one helped with my dilemma!

MSE says option 2 or 3 as will save money...... humanitarian in me says 1.....

so i would go for 1, gives everyone a real physical benefit and will encourage donations to next sealed pot, which can be for 2 or 3......

I have just had roof insulation done - December - and it has made a tremendous difference to the warmth of the house. I have to turn the heating off! (I have a load os stuff from the loft with no home now though!). I was having the walls done but when they came to do it they found it was already done. lol.:D
That said my boiler is ancient and I know that I would save a fortune with a new one and get rid of the imersion and free up the boiler cupboard space in the dining room.
There again - I do love a nice shower and soak in the bath.
That's not much help is it?:o
On calance I'd go for the loft and walls first or you'll be losing all that lovely heat from the new boiler. Mine worked out at £199 +£199 for a 3 bed bungalow.
May you could raise enough for a new shower to see you through too?

    Thanks for your help guys!

    I have decided -
FIRST - wall & loft insulation - we can do the loft ourselves!

SECOND- new bathroom and a nice powerful shower (we'll need a booster pump too, our water pressure is terrible!)

THIRD- replace boiler for efficient combi one.

    Woohoo! sorted!

I just ordered some arty stuff from the Yellow Moon catalogue.
Jess just loves doing anything arty - cutting sticking, drawing etc.....
