Ask her at your next appointment and ask her to show it to you.

I'm pretty sure she took a full set of xrays last time I went (2 years ago).
How tricky is it to remove a tooth, with nothing above the gum line to hold on to. Honest please hun, I'm better if I know. PM me if it would put peeps off their lunchIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Slow day bookie?
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -

When there is nothing to get hold of you usually just use a tool called an elevator.
Contrary to belief you don't pull teeth out, you push and lever them out!
Once the area is numbed up the dentist will test all around the tooth to check that is is completely numb
Then she will probably use an elevator to wiggle down the side of what's left to gently lift it out. It's normal to feel some pushing and pressure but it should NOT hurt!
roots often just wiggle out without much problem. The dentist may use some root forceps to get a hold of the roots to get them out.
