yeah that must be my thing.... i only accuse the same posters of duplicate usernames.
there's about six or seven user names. they have you're hoodwinked mentality so you probably wouldn't realise who they are anyway...
anyway enough of that let's get back on topic about foreign nationals - the more that come to this country to work the better. it can only increase tax revenues and also dilute that idiotic British trait of being supreme to other nations which we/you
obviously are not.0 -

Last time you said that sort of thing to someone on here, you said "you".RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

Oh chucky, you know thats not true - the monetary benefit of immigrants is outweighed by the costs of their larger families etc. Its been well documented. Id also argue that we think we are superior to other nations, I think we must be the only nation who continually knocks ourselves.0

No mewbie, she was an old lady who was robbed in her own home who is now scared for life from her nose and down her chin. You can watch it on iplayer and see if you still think it is worth making a cheap remark over.
Thats just the tip of the iceberg.
Police estimate that the vast majority of violent crimes are committed by either immigrants or the second generation of settlers here.
The TONIGHT show was excellent at highlightuing the terrors and evils of unchecked immigration.0 -
We go to the CEO's house. We can get in through the underground heating system... up through to the main audience chamber... and into his [strike]Pilate's[/strike] wife's bedroom. Having grabbed his wife, we inform [strike]Pilate's[/strike] him that she is in our custody and forthwith issue our demands.
Any questions?

The programme also highlighted what a load of rubbish the Immigration Office is. The murderer who was deported only to get to the airport and claim asylum and 2 years on the application is still being considered. He had a lovely house and 4 x 4 - wonder who is paying for them?. How mad is that? We are too PC for our own good.
The Lithuanian police say we have at least 100 dangerous criminals here from their country - ones who have committed murders/rapes and armed robberies.
I think the programme said 46% of the dangerous criminals are from Poland alone. LOL, the polish police come over in a military plane every month or something so that 18 criminals can be deported in one go.
To be honest, Im surprised the other countries want to take these blokes back.0 -

You see, this just shows the big problem with 'documentation'... As I see it, this goes down to the division of generic 'immigrants' and 'migrants' into the separate categories that they are. As far as I'm aware it's well documented that migrants contribute much more to the economy than they take out: I've read frequently that they pay tax and NI here, spend in 'our' shops, contribute to the general generation of wealth in UK plc, then leave before they get old enough to draw pensions and need hip replacements. I suppose it just depends which source you use and which numbers have been crunched on your behalf.
And I would argue that Britain's fabled 'superiority complex' reigns supreme even now. It's perfectly possible to engage in sarcastic self-knocking and still have an unnatural belief in one's own self-worth. Handily, proof of this comes both in the arguments expressed earlier in this thread ("we gave enlightenment to backwards civilisations") and in the frequently expressed idea that "we want different rules for us because we're special", seen in those who demand foreigners lose their right to work in the UK while British people continue to enjoy their right to work overseas, and those who complain about foreign ownership of 'British' businesses but conveniently forget about British businesses that buy and operate companies overseas.
As for the current round of strikes, why are they all 'unofficial'? Surely the strikers know they immediately lose respect when they launch illegal wildcat strikes? Perhaps because they know nothing has taken place about which they can legitimitely protest?0 -
Check out Migrantwatch - they are the official body.

The Myth"Migrants contribute a net £2.5 billion to the exchequer"
The FactsFalse.
Close examination of this claim reveals that the outcome depends on how the cost of children of “mixed” marriages is allocated. There are about ¾ million children with one foreign born parent and one born in the UK. If they are all charged to the host community the result is the government’s figure. If they are all charged to the immigrant community the result is that immigrants cost an extra £2.5 billion in the year for which the calculation was done (1999/2000). The fair and logical course is for the cost to be split 50/50. On this basis, immigrants cost £900 million in that year.
Sadly a lot of the money spent in "our shops" is our money in the first place.
I am not aware of Brits overseas who are in countries with people having the same skills stuck on dole queues whilst Brits get preference?0 -

quite a few people here please keep taking your tablets. looks like some of you lot havent been taking them for sometime. ignorance is bliss for a few but blatant racism is the last refuge of sophisticated people where they make baseless statements using anecdotal evidence.
what rubbish about the polish. there will be criminals from all nationalities. see in glasgow etc and other deprived areas who exactly is doing all that crime and getting benefits. see IPPR reports into crime, immigrations and also about benefits etc. http://www.ippr.org.uk/publicationsandreports/
loads of polish people are ordinary people just like you and me and i bet a significant majority are very hard working as well as most i came across are in daily jobs. so if they dont work they dont get paid. i see many times that even when their wifes are admitted in hospital about to have a baby, many of the fathers would be out working, many come straight in the work clothes covered in paint etc because they come straight from work as they are scared they will get fired if they take too much leave or that they wont be given daily jobs if self employed but working for contractors. i feel sorry for such people even working when their wifes are having a baby. some come in for a few hours during the night and headout back to work as they are self employed or work daily contracts so if they dont work they dont have money.bubblesmoney :hello:0 -
Perhaps you misunderstood - the programme was reporting on the numbers of dangerous criminals from Eastern bloc countries - they gave the numbers and pointed out 46% of those were Polish. (this was confirmed by Scotland Yards extradition squad) - "anecdotal"? "baseless"? "blatant racism"?
If you feel that is racism take it up with the programme makers or Scotland Yard - not meI think too many people bury their heads in the sand when it comes to being PC.
