Do you really believe these people are totally blameless of any crimes??

I have never said that, I actually said that you cannot blaim ONLY them.
I believe it is happening (as the beginning of my threat said) as it is happening in EVERY COUNTRY ALL OVER THE WORLD. It is just some people's nature to be violent (than they should go to the prison). You cannot disregard the whole nation because of few idiots who had the luck not to be caught yet. And that is my dear, what Dervish is suggesting.

Cleaver, it IS happening like that in many city centres. No good burying your head.

I live in the centre Manchester and go out in the centre of Manchester. Manchester has a population made up of white mancunians, black mancunians, asian mancunians and various other mancunians. We also have people living here that have moved over from Eastern Europe, other parts of Europe, Africa, Asia and various other parts of the globe. The diversity is one of the fun things about living here to be honest.

So when you head in to the city centre at night you get a minority behaving like idiots. Complete idiots: acting anti-socially, generally making life miserable for others. These idiots could be white mancunians, black mancunians, asian mancunians. They could be people who have moved here from Europe, Africa, Asia or various other parts of the globe. You get the point.

My city centre isn't a ghetto - I know it isn't, because I live there and go out there a lot. If anything, I'd be tempted to say that there is a very strange and scary uber-lower class of white, British, 20-something males that is causing our town and city centres to become slightly tarnished, but I don't even really get any trouble from this demographic because they are still very much in the minority.

Maybe you're right, and I do have my head in the sand. Maybe all the English people in town centres are sitting out in nice open terraces and squares, sipping their small glasses of wine and generally being pleasant to each other whilst all the immigrants go around in feral packs drinking themselves stupid and 'abusing women' as another poster put it. But that isn't true though, is it?
  • Why not outsource individuals who have committed serious offences to Chinese prisons?
Both save on taxes plus a better deterrent.

Every post of yours is more biggotted, narrow minded and stupid. You have just made my ignore list. Not only that but you have clung to your narrow minded views, despite well presented, logical arguments. This is the mark of a xenophobic bigot.

I've said it before but you seem like a slow learner: keep your opinions to yourself they a collection of the most stupid, ill-informed bits of drivel.

So what happend to "free speech" think your in danger of "inflating your own importance there" . Unless we have been invaded , it seems anyone who doesn't hold your views is "narrow minded, and a xenophobic" ..................................... I bet your ignore list is long?....

WE ARE STILL FREE TO HAVE OUR OWN VIEW.......

"The UKWelder forum was established to provide a platform for the discussion of welding and welding related subjects. Of late a number of non welding posts have appeared that threaten the continued existence of this website. To ensure that this site stays online we must ask users to refrain from posting non welding topics.
Unfortunately this means that until further notice all posts will be first viewed by a moderator. This may cause some delay before posts appear. Non Welding posts are unlikely to be approved. We thank you for your patience and hope you can continue to enjoy and use the site for its intended purpose. " Quote.

You can talk about metal but not your jobs....

I'm going to join the UKWelder forums and start causing trouble with lots of different usernames.

"I prefer to join materials in traditional ways, using screws, nails and glue."

"Welding is a dying art. Real men go in to Joinery."

"Hello all. I'm new to this country having just got here on a boat from Botswana. I've done a bit of welding with my uncle in his village - would anyone know where I can get some cash in hand welding jobs? I'm quite happy to work for £2 an hour so I'm hoping some companies will take me on as I'm cheap."

"All you welders practicing in flux-cored arc welding, gas metal arc welding and submergered arc welding are living in the f*cking past. You need to get your head around electron beam welding and laser beam welding and join the 21st century."

"Surely there's a simple way to just get robots to do all the welding? Then we wouldn't need to waste money on Welders. Discuss."

Just the one on my ignore list - its pointless having discussions with people like dervish - he holds onto his views tightly despite logical arguments to the contrary, which he didn't even try and rebut.

I'm all for free speech, but that doesn't mean that I have to listen to it.

Sorry Wookster, I disagree with your signature.

That sort of expenditure wouldn't count as GDP afaik. I am talking about GDP growth from activities like equity withdrawals and the over-leveraging companies after some private equity buyouts.

Argument for a different thread :)

I tell ya...if you weren't so darn entertaining and side splittingly funny - it would be most scary how your mind works. I mean ...REALLY!

Whatever the shortcomings of some posts - worth turning up just for the LOL ones like those.

Behave, Cleaver. You'll never become a proper grown-up ( narrow minded, nationalistic, ossified, knitting optional ) if you don't rein in your vivid imagination and start censoring your brain.

Immigration is bad, non-competitiveness and tighly sealed British borders ( only for the purpose of immigration.... not emigration, obviously - duh) is the way to go. How can this be so difficult for you to FINALLY understand and accept?? Were you always a tad slow?
    ;)
