I spent £30 in Birmingham Lush today and was just given an Up You Get Emotibomb, I'd forgotten about the goodie bag thing actually....

They probably didn't have any then as I know in Cardiff they had posters everywhere and bags lined up behind the counter ready to go
Never give up the dream!

  • How do you all store your lush soap?

i don't know if this is a good way or not (this is my first Lush experience), but i wrapped each piece separately in foil to keep the scent in and put it in a bag under the bed. It stops the whole room from smelling like Lush - which i actually appreciate. i like to smell one scent at a time. :)
  • are posts offering swaps being deleted?

Mine has disappeared - didn't realise it was a no-no as had seen quite a few previously

Somebody did post a few pages back that people were not to advertise for swaps on the forums, obviously it's at your own risk if you want to trust people. Maybe that is why they were deleted, nobody seemed to have paid much attention to the post and carried right on asking for swaps lol  Can one of the Board Guides clarify please? ;)

you're not allowed to swap and sell on here.
  • There is a swap board on the Lush Forum. If you are looking to do swaps, you might have more joy over there. (You need to register and be accepted by one of the board administrators)

  • Yes,don't send anyone money ,I learnt the hard way and sent someone on this board money for a goody bag but received nothing and they now have done a dissappearing act. They seemed very trustworthy and had many posts but I will never ,ever do that again.

For anyone getting 'lush bits' blocking the drain, try crumbling the bubble bars in a small mesh/net bag and then add them to running water. Same for Bath Bombs but without the need to crumble.

    Catches all the bits. :)
Old pairs of tights/stockings/popsocks work well for this - just make sure you use a bit without a ladder! ;)
