  • Do you think I have 'over lushed' ??, had to call a plumber out yesterday as our bath was not draining and yes you have guessed it, it was blocked by bits of confetti, flower petals, bits of glitter, herbs and some sticks (not sure where the sticks came from but they were like cinnamon sticks so as I dont normally have cinnamon sticks anywhere near my bathroom, I am sure they must be lush related !), I thought it was funny but DH is not liking the plumbers bill ! :D

LOL! - I'm anticipating this problem as well, but won't call out the plumber.

I have to unblock my bath quite regularly (I have long hair and with all the soaps conditioner hair etc going down the plughole, it does get blocked) - I just take the bath panel off, undo the U bend and clean it out, then put it back together again - It's a 10 minute job, and costs nothing!

You can get little tea strainer thingies that fit in the plug hole that catch this sort of debris. Just pop it in after you've pulled out the plug. Alternately make a golf ball shape out of scrunched up wire to put in the plug hole to catch the bits. Or even an old body polishing puff.

my boyfriend unblocked the sink the other day as it had pretty much stopped draining. it was mostly full of my long hair, about a head full it looked like! but it was covered in soap, seaweed, glitter, toothpaste etc. lovely.
