Here's my guess at what you've gotApril 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -
All this posting of stuff people got and swaps and the like is making me wish I'd been able to get into town when the grab bags were on and get one - and I've never even tried Lush stuff before! I'm so very tempted to go and splurge on some stuff, even though I really don't need it and can't really afford it lol.0

I think you are all very lucky to get your grab bags
Unfortunately there were none left when I went in a couple of weeks ago.
Also when I was in on Saturday they had the big dice but they werent getting rolled - must have missed out on that too - consolled myself with a huge lump of Rockstar a couple of bubble bars and some Skinny Dip.0 -
norwich were still doing the dice yesterday. didnt win:heart2:Stupid, unreliable vampire.:heart2:0

I'm loving this lush thread, I'm a bit of a lush newbie but think I'm hooked after getting my little grab bag. I am now wanting to buy some more of their soaps, but I don't want to buy the big bars, I'm looking more for travel/trial size bars. Does anyone know if Lush sells small bits of soap? I know they sometimes give out the odd sample but I am wanting to try out quite a few of the soaps to see what I like best before buy more.0

i remember when lush were first starting out, they had a market stall near me. the stuff did look abit tacky at first, but smelt great!
and as you do on the market, plus being a stall holder meself, i mustve haggled a good few bits and bobs out of them!
anyway i dont know what the point was of thi post but hey :beer:0 -

If you ask them they'll cut you the sized bit you want rather than just having to pick a bit they've already wrapped up :AApril 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -

I personally would be very happy with that0 -
Yup, I totally get that- but maybe ion this case, the lesson learnt is to check or ask next time- rather then rant at Lush, or even suggest this to Lush rather then rant at them- they generally do have great offers, and not every bag was "all soap" or "all bath bombs", and they did offer it, they didn't force anyone to buy anything...
Who is ranting at Lush?
Yes, next year will ask if my bag contains £20 worth of christmas soap and £15 of beer jelly for sure!
This forum is to make people aware of what bargains are out there.
Some of us received bags with just a couple of items in we are letting people know that can happen and also putting it out there so that Lush knows that people aren't always happy to get £20 worth of christmas soap no matter what the price.
If I photographed what was in my bag maybe people would understand.
I appreciate it was a higher value than the money I paid but really huge chunks of soap at discount price are better sold in the open.
Like I said I like the beer jelly, but just a very little bit more variety would have made it much better.0 -

I think you have to remember this when buying grab bags. If there's a chance you wouldn't want just bath or just shower orientated than maybe it's best not to waste the money and buy it at xmas full price or sale if there is one. That way you still spend less but get exactly what you want.
Yes, I agree with that. It is worth finding out if your store is doing spend a certain amount get a certain amount of your choice made before a certain date offers as those are brilliant deals and happen a lot just before new year and after christmas.0
