4 of us from work, trotted over and got a £15 bag each today at Dundee, we got soap, soap and more soap! between us we had 48 pieces of soap! The rest were santa & snowmen fizzers, and 4 snow jellies.
Have to say we were very disappointed! i think gutted is the better description, especially after reading some of the goodies in others bags.
Guess its just what they get delivered, but told friends to ask sales assistant before buying
Got plenty of discount vouchers though, lol
Hope others are more lucky, wee fifer
Same happened to me in the Cardiff store.
I got two HUGE chunks of christmas cake soap and two snow showers jellies two gold frankincense and beer jellies and then got the same damn jelly in my gift box! On top of that I got a badly broken bath bomb. The christmas lipsalve and a small snow fairy shower gel and a bath bomb in with the extra GF&B jelly.
I wouldn't have spent £15 on it for sure, let alone £50!
I know it is left over christmas stock but other than the snowfairy it all has exactly the same scent and it is a bit of a horrible scent! I know you take a risk but I figured there would be enough variety to not mind if you didn't like a few items but like I said mine are all the same!0 -
im loving ruby red slippers ( i think thats right) my house smells great...like a lush shoponwards and upwards0

Still good value tho, I got 3 x Gold, Frankincense and Beer, 3 x Snowshower, 1 x purple bath star (?) and a let them eat cake lipbalm. Bathroom smells lovely now!! (Bit gutted I didn't ring them earlier in week, they had a couple of reserved bigger bags behind the counter)
All you missed out on were chunks of christmas cake soap, an emoticon shower fizzer and a small snowfairy shower gel for an extra tenner.
I think in cardiff people were better off buying the smaller bags.0 -

^nice mix.
For all the saying people shouldn't complain or they will stop making the bags perhaps they will stop making the bags with only a few items in. It really is a disappointment to get huge amounts of three things mainly christmas soap!
If it means less £15 bags but more £10 what is the harm? Not that I complained, just grumbled here a lot!0 -
Hi guys
Please don't give strangers on the internet your name and address. We'd hate to have reports of burgled houses because you''d told them on here you were going out shopping!
Take care

Thankyou for not complaining! although some grab-it bags were not all that, others were, and its worth noting that so that we know where is good/bad to visit next year when it happens again (and hopefully it will) along with pitfalls such as asking to see first or specify what products you don't want (eg in my case no bath bombs as I have no bath/only a shower).
I hope people don't complain, it could work against us shoppers- the only way they would change this offer in our benefit is to have each bag checked before sale or something, thus costing more staff and probably upping the price of them- please don't complain unless you are deeply unhappy (you have recieved significantly l;ess then £15 in a £15 grab it bag or something). It may get you an apology, but may also contribute to them stopping the offer- Lush pride themselves on their customer service, if they feel they are not doing a good job service wise, they are likely to stop what they are doing rather then risk their reputation on it.0 -

Looking for a cleanser to use on a morning - wake-up call rather than removing makeup plus a daytime moisturiser for sensitive, spot-prone skin with oily t-zone
I use Angels on Bare Skin cleaner - not really 'zingy' but it smells a lot like 'natural' lavendar and rosemary (like I've just gone into my garden and groped the plants in the garden :rotfl: ) and smells lovely and fresh.
For my combination / T-Zone skin I use Cosmetic Lad moisturiser. At £10 for 100gms it seems a bit expensive but it use the tiniest bit (seriously, maybe less that quarter of a pea??) that it's good value looking at it like that... It's like a mousse, smells of cookie dough and is super light on the greasy bits, and not too heavy on the dry bitsApril 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -

If a shop really does only have a few bits, and huge chunks of christmas cake soap and a million of one bath bomb then it would be better if they didn't do the offer in that store but sold the left over items in another manner.0
