“We are working hard with the remaining employees to establish a list of customers with outstanding orders and much of our immediate effort will be focused on communicating with them. Within the first few weeks of the administration, we are aiming to contact all customers who have paid for goods which they have not received.

It'd be good if I manage to get my fridge but a fridge is just a fridge, I'm absolutely gutted that so many have lost their jobs. Having spoken to the manager who was obviously still in shock at having to send his staff home and deal with this nightmare, I just hope that they can all find alternative work.

Very sad, I bought a TV and a Cat and Dog Vacuum cleaner from their Derby store and found the service excellent and more competitive than the branch of PC Dixon Curry's World store next door.
    Probably the next to go.

So many household names going, it really is quite worrying. :(

but then there are jobs being made available in retail, theres 5000 being mad available by waitrose, tesco 10,000 and morrisons 5,000 so its not all bad but it depends in which area of the country the new vacancies are going to be
  • I placed an order today at 3 and no payment screen come up but got an email and order confirmation. Was a bit confused as to how they do business so gave them a call about 3-30 and got through to the support team straight away who then put me through to the sales team (0871 472 9001). The guy said the item was probably out of stock so would check, but he looked and said there were lots available and it was due to the site being updated and changes in their payment processory. He said to call them back about 7-30 to pay and guarantee next day service. I saw the site went down about 5ish and my Dad said straight away they have probably gone into administation! So glad it didnt take my payment. Hope everybody else gets it sorted.
