Oh I know they won't care but it will make me feel better to get it off my chest. Btw I was being rhetorical when I asked where the money could have come from. Unfortunately there are too many loopholes in the law to stop failed business people going bust and then starting over as if nothing had ever happened.0

I was in Currys Doncaster last week (they are next to the old Empire Direct store) and they confirmed that Empire Direct is reopening and that they are looking for staff!July Win: Nokia 58000

The main problem is that the fat cats get fatter while the mice get more scarce, and what I myself notice is that when companies are heading for administration you see staff levels diminish and sales pitches get more agressive.
This is to try and get as much cash in the bank as possible which means the directors wages and expenses and bonuses and other allowances get paid then when they have got as much cash as possible they call in administrators, unfortunately they seem to forget about the low paid people on the shop floor who do ALL the work for very little return and a crappy working environment, then the directors just go and open a new business, we as a country should take on the american way of the law when it comes to company directors and hold them soley responsible and make them pay.0 -
I completely agree dors01.
The problem we have had is that the people at the top were always revered excessively and thus could get away with the matra that 'to get the best people, you have to pay the best money'. I have never believed that and it has taken the banking collapse to open the eyes of the general public to realise this as well. I mean what do all those directors and chief executives at banks and building socities do apart from chucking our money away on risky investments so that they can earn mega-bonuses? Plus don't forget those MPs who accept a position on a board for 'working' a couple of afternoons a month in return for thosands of pounds. Are they really needed?0
