setting up the drive, and cloning, inside windows - would have been easier than hdclone, but as you've created the cd, you may as well try it, just make sure you have the source and destination drives the right way around.
If you want, you can guide Zebra through that - I'm chewing floppy disks up here, pesky things! :rotfl:

Look at the back of the drive, where you unplugged the cables. Those diagrams are meant to represent the rear of the drives! :D

For the Seagate, look to the left of where you pulled out the power cable (four wires on it, two black, one yellow and one red) - hopefully, you'll see some jumpers.

    There!

Right next to the power plug, you can see the jumper pins.

The original hard disk will be set as a master (or cable select, effectively master), how are you plugging the second hard disk in, on the same ribbon cable in the middle, or on another one?

Edit if new drive is cable select, just stick it anywhere, switch on, and either run boot from hdclone cd, or install maxblast
same cable - new one on end , old one on the middle - is that correct?

do those jumper settings sound right?
