Change of subject time I thought, point made now I think !!!
Can somebody please explain how they printed off the NUS coupons (walls etc on the 1st page) and if they have used them at Tesco's? I printed the page, but the first time it printed the walls and the feasters and the bar codes were really small and then I zoomed in and printed the walls and it took up the whole page so made a really big coupon. Please bear in mind not techie minded
Tescos abuse the idea of money off coupons and take virtually any coupons .............It's nice to be nice .....
You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)

I was wondering about this, I actually zoom in and then select part of the coupon for printing thereby the coupon is actually smaller. I take it up to just above the word "walls" the bar code is still small though but I just ask the cashier if they would please type in the number. Hope this helps a bit2008£3002009£13002010£15002011£41952012£21942013£1494

I've tried various sizes for the Walls one but the bet size at my Tesco's is print at 100% not Zoom to Fit Page and this makes it 14.5 x 20.5cm. I then cut it out and fold it in 3 with the barcode uppermost. Most SA's just take it, check the date and scan it.
Will try this but Ive found by zooming and cropping the coupon only takes up half the page thereby saving ink. I usually cut it out, and fold it in half with the bar code face up.2008£3002009£13002010£15002011£41952012£21942013£1494

ok .........Back to Printable Money off Coupons
Coke is now on offer in Tesco 3 for £3 for 2l bottles.
On each bottle is a code for logging onto their site and getting coupons for a 2l bottle of Coke Zero.
Each of the bottles also gives you 3 reward points for claiming goodies eg Xbox 360 for 600 points, £5 Halfords gift voucher for 100points....details on the site
So for £3 spend (with Mocs) you get 18 points.
If you get referred by a friend, you each get an extra 20 points allocated to you, if you go through the link that Coke send you.
Since this is a nice friendly forum;), I would happily refer anyone who wants it;)....just PM me.It's nice to be nice .....

Don't know why you are being so childish.
Tescos don't expect to get all the "money" back from all the coupons they happily accept. How can they possibly redeem the coupons they take along the lines of "Spend £25 at Sainsburys/Asda/Waitrose etc and get £5 off"?
As previously posted, apart from their out and out abuse of taking any coupons and redeeming them against the hapless manufacturer (who daren't take it up with Tesco for fear of being removed from their supplier's list), they also swallow the cost of taking coupons they cannot redeem as a loss leader to get us spending in their stores.0 -
On some botttles of fanta (all varieties) (big bottles) - if you peal off the label around it, they have a coupon on the other side for a free bottle of fanta still. am going to try it today.
You can tell which bottles have it as they have "TRY ME FOR FREE" next to "FANTA STILL"
It is like the little muller stars coupon, where the actual coupon doesn't have the amount in the barcode, so i will let you all know how i get on, and i hope it helps some of you0 -

I agree with you here Quentin but their reasons for accepting these ones designed for other stores (and these ones only) are clear, as you know because it's been said before.
It's because they want new customers in who will think they have to spend the £25 to use the voucher. So Tesco win in 2 ways, they've nabbed a Sainsburys customer and they've sold another £25+ of groceries with only a 10% (or less) reduction on their shelf prices which is great for them. They hope they will then keep that customer in future.
But Tesco absolutely don't want other stores unredeemable '£1 off baked beans' coupons. That's why their policy states these type of coupons are not OK, and if the cashiers in your local store were as well-trained as Waitrose cashiers generally are, they would know this.
In my local Tesco most cashiers know the policy well and there is no self scan either so you would hate it there! Shame your local store cashiers don't seem to know better. I would be more worried about the policy changing in your local than in mine.
Only yesterday one of my fave cashiers was telling me she had just thwarted some old scammer of a bloke trying to use Somerfield mocs. Then she happily took my huge pile of mocs, checked the dates without much delay, and I paid 8p for £32 of shopping. And yes...I do have that many different coupons and they are all OK.
Tesco get the money back and yes, it comes from the manufacturers - who have already budgeted for the coupon campaign after all. I honestly believe it's a much cheaper form of advertising for them than the wedge they'd have to pay Tesco and other Supermarkets individually for a dedicated instore shelf promotion at each of thousands of stores nationwide.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
