NO WAY!!!! I just dont think it's worth it.

Ok. I could do with 20 grand right now but I would not sell someone out for it.

Plus I would be worried about the consequences.
  • I would never dream of selling a story about a friend or ex friend no matter how much money was offered.
It would be dishonourable and i couldnt live with myself.

I would find it interesting to know how many would stick with their principles when a cheque for 20k was waved in front of them.
Its all too easy to sit on the moral high ground on a forum but in the real world
I have found that friends come and go in life and in my case are have easily replaced.

REAL FRIENDS DO NOT COME AND GO IN LIFE THEY REMAIN WITH YOU FOR EVER, I WONDER HOW MANY REAL FRIENDS YOU HAVE GOT NOT MANY I BET

  • I couldnt do it...i dont see many of my friends that i grew up with much as i moved away but i couldnt bring myself to sell all i knew about them.i would never go on a reality show as someone is more than likely to open a can of worms about me for a few quid
    ;)
  • For sure I would and then I'd split the proceeds 50 50! Everyone's a winner!
  • This is a straightforward dilemma. I was told the information in confidence and unless there is a morally superceding argument for breaking that confidence e.g. to save lives or prevent significant harm, then to break the confidence is immoral. Time elapsed since the last meeting; appearance on a high profile show; financial gain etc are morally irrelevant. I was entrusted with information and if I break the entrustment without good reason then arguably I was never a pal-merely an untrustable acquaintance for whom money supercedes confidentiality. I'd prefer to be a pal or not a pal, but not an untrustable aquaintance - so no I wouldn't spill the beans unless I felt it morally necessary.
  • As my nan used to say you should treat people as you wish to be treated yourself!
I would be mortified (even if I'd chosen to be on BB... not likely) if someone chose to make money out of a possible past mistake (if I saw them regularly or not) and humiliate me or my family in the process.
NEVER would I consider this ever no matter what my financial position.

  • :o:cry: Unfortunatly being honist I would to get some money at the moment. I am in too much debt to turn it down, just keeping my head above water so to keep my family with a roof over my head Im sure any true friend would understand and fogive, a little embaresment.
