  • Most certainly not, If I did I would not be much of a mate and would not deserve to have any mates or friends in the future, good mates and friends are just as dear to my as my wonderful family I could not imagine life being worthwhile without them

I would find it interesting to know how many would stick with their principles when a cheque for 20k was waved in front of them.
Its all too easy to sit on the moral high ground on a forum but in the real world
I have found that friends come and go in life and in my case are have easily replaced.

I'd never sell a friend for money. Ever. I find tabloid jourolism repellent, I don't buy, nor read tabloid newspapers, and don't watch reality TV shows, so I certainly wouldn't want to be adding to their profit, let alone the misery of a friend.

I'd never betray a friend nor family member, and would defend them to the hilt. Money is not even a question in this case.

I'd quite happy screw up the 20K cheque if it was waved in front of me, for me it's not even tempting. It'd have to have a lot more zeros on to even get my attention! ;)
  • Actually yep I probably would. If they are say an old school mate I don't see anymore, well I don't see them anyway and frankly look at the kind of people who go on BB, and why they go on - for £20K if it was someone who I never saw anyway yeppity yep I'm afraid.
Odd cos I normally think of myself are relatively principled!
Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it!'
  • No, never in a million years, not for £20,000. However, if I was offered a life changing sum of money like a million pounds then I might be more tempted! he he he
  • Never.

And those who think they can give a story to the press and expect it would be printed with the slant they intended need to think again.
  • I have worked in a business (tv production) where I could have sold countless stories. The reason I didn't was that I realised the celebs were just people, often with children, elderly parents etc.I reassured plenty before they went on shows, seasoned performers you would never guess got so frightened (both national and international stars). The money would have changed my life tremendously but I would have been so annoyed with myself. This even applied to the not very pleasant group of celebs who were rotten to people working there!TBH I never considered any legal implications (contract), it was totally about how I would have felt carp afterwards.
Anyway, I don' think you get luck with money like that.
  • No, no, no, never. Would not be able to live with the guilt, the money would bring no pleasure.
  • What's Big Brother? :-) I am far too intelligent to watch such trash and certainly would not want to play a part in fuelling it's popularity even for £1m.

I would talk to them about it. It is possible that a story like that might raise their profile, all publicity beign good publicity. If they objected I wouldn't but they might use it to sell a story of their own...

It's not something I'd do without an agreement from the party involved. Indeed I wouldn't do it to anyone without their agreement as a matter of course.

I could make it better myself at home. All I need is a small aubergine...

I moved to Liverpool for a better life.
And goodness, it's turned out to be better and busier!
