Hey, hope your all ok! please take 2mins to read this post.
im taking part in one of the 'race for life' cancer research events, partly because right now im a mummy going through a really tough time with my daughters grandad. If any of you are going through the same then you will understand how i feel.
I think i can speak for alot of people when i say that cancer research UK desperatly need support.

How's the training going everyone? Got the blisters to prove it, it's a nice feeling!

I've been doung quite a bit of walking, need to find out where 2.5k is away from my house, then I can walk there and back to start with.

Won't be able to run it all as some of it is on grass and I can't run on grass since I broke my ankle =(

As long as we do it though I guess it doesn't matter hey!

All the very best everyone, you really are running (walking or crawling maybe?:rolleyes:) for such a wonderful cause, I hope the day's just right for it and everyone reaches the end in great form. If you're getting [STRIKE]knackered[/STRIKE] tired towards the end then think of all those who are suffering and depending on you as well as all those above who are rooting for you! My training could be going alot better, I could actually be out there training :rotfl:

But Im not too concered I ran (well jogged) the 5km last year with very little training and it took 40 minutes.
