I know a lot of people here on MSE take part in Race for Life events accross the country so I just thought I would let you know that the online application page is now up and running www.raceforlife.org.uk

I have applied this morning for the Southampton Race for Life on Sunday 12th July

Feel free to add your Race for life events and your sponsor pages to this thread and we can all support one another in our training and fundraising!

Im doing the July evening Cardiff one this year, i did it on my own last year (i even did some running - a struggle and a rarity!) and with my mam the year before so this year its the turn of the friends getting sucked into the fun! plus its yet another reason to carry on the getting fit challenge!

I am doing the Race for Life in Sutton Park on 12 July this year, I have done it for the last 2 years, I lost my sister to cervical cancer in June 2006 at the age of 27. I have walked it in the last 2 years, but this year I am going to be running it (trying anyway). Good luck to everyone participating in this fantastic cause.
