Buffy - how about going for doctor's appointment or would they want to see evidence? Then you can go to the vet and go in after.
Bun - I've had the same dilemma lately, with a new job, but surely when they take people on this time of year they have to give a little - everyone is sick!
I think I am going to call in sick, I can e mail some of my students. If you go in late you have to be interviewed, a day off well I might still be interviewed but I would rather know the hamster is ok and get some marking done for the same grilling if you see what I mean.
I feel guilty but I was brought up by a lapsed Catholic so I feel guilty about everything.
