  • Best Brekkie is slow releasing energy - porridge, beans on toast etc (no spread).

Porridge is best by a country mile to be honest.

When Paula Radcliffe competes in Marathons, they generally kick off between 09:00-10:00 & she breakfasts on porridge and a protein bar.

It could well be that you are trying to achieve the impossible. How you look depends on your body shape. I am a classic apple with all my weight on my tummy and boobs, so I know I will never achieve an hourglass figure.

Personally, I go to the gym in the morning before work (although not this morning!) and always exercise on an empty stomach because it is so early. Then when I get to work I have a high fibre cereal. Works for me.

Thanks for the posting, it's a useful for us

trust me i had lost and gained a few times and 8 stone is a lot to lose, do u have that much to lose?

i still think if u do it slowly and take some toning exercise as u go along u wont have as much problem as if u just drop the whole lot and anyways even if skin is a problem its got to be healthier than being overweight dont u think?
