place near me u pay (i think) £50 per month and u get personal training as many times a week as u want .. usually one trainer for 2 but can go up to 4 busy times and other times its one on oneWhen you know better you do better0

To lose weight in the long term you will have to face up to the fact that you have to eat less. Whatever you eat now should be cut down gradually over the next few weeks. Just look at your weekly food intake and start stripping things out. I rarely feel full when I stop eating. It is hard to do but I have trained myself so that I am used to it now. I also get in cardio when I can and shun the car if I can walk where I want to in time. The best exercise for me is running(6 or 8 miles 2 or 3 times a week) but I have to force myself to do these things as I do not enjoy them. The big payoff is that my weight is healthy and I always feel great. There is no way to describe how good you feel after a long hard run when you have been pushing your limits. Obviously you won't get that effect immediately but if you stick with it, it is well worth the effort.0

I second what southernscouser and shykins said... change is forever so make changes you can sustain! Find the healthy food and exercises you like and incorporate them into your life... don't make yourself miserable eating (e.g.) broccoli if you hate it, and running if you'd be happier swimming. In this way, you will be focusing on the positive and more likely to stick with it. HTH.

Runners high is great (been on a 16 miler today so am pretty woozy) - I've never got that with any other exercise but maybe I just didnt do it enough - dont forget you have to run over 4 miles to get the high and most people wont be able to run that straight away so it takes a while to like running I think but its worth the effort by a long way

I have booked myself in at my local gym for an induction this week so i will see what the instructor recommends and i am gonna cut down on my junk food and eat more fruit and veg and drink more water cut down on the booze and takeaways.0 -

If you do a flat paced 10 minute run, chances are your heart rate will be at the fat burning rate. If you run fast for a minute your heart rate should be in the cardio zone. Then when you start walking/resting between runs you'll probably drop down to the fat burn zone. Run fast again, heart rate goes up. 5 minutes of that will be more effective than 10 minutes at a pace that only makes your heart beat in the fat burning zone.

It is also a good way to start running if you're not very fit. Start off by walking for a few minuTes, building up your pace to warm up. Run for a minute or so, then walk a bit more, then run again, walk again etc. This will ease you into running since not many first timers can just walk out the door and run for 30 minutes!
