Hi, I usually do a search in Tripadvisor for "jacuzzi" and the name of the town I want to go to.

Broadoaks Country House in Lake District (bookable via laterooms.com) is a gorgeous hotel with jacuzzi, champagne, flowers and they also give a "turn down service" where they clean the room and turn the bed sheets while you are out at dinner. It's a really romantic place and not badly priced at £150 for two (excl breakfast).

I used to live in Saltash and got a flight from Bristol to Edinburgh and stayed at the Edinburgh Residence (part of the townhouse company). Not sure about the hot tub etc but gorgeous place.

Try this in Dartmouth - not too far to travel but loads to do in the area and a really lovely hotel with "spa" bedrooms - spent a couple of nights there and it is lovely.

    Hello

Again it may be a but too far, but try www.griffonforest.co.uk

Fantastic Lodges all with private hot tubs!

Funnily enough we are checking in their later today for a short Mon-Fri break!!

Wouldn't recommend this place I'm afraid.
We stayed there a few years ago and I was really disappointed, the place wasn't very clean, you know it's not good when there's loads of mould in the shower cubicle

We were there Friday-Monday and not once did I ever see anyone checking ours (or anyone else's for that matter) water in the hot tub (eugh). Compare that to where we've just been recently, where the water was tested daily, with a chart showing all the readings for this, that and the other, and instructions left for us to test it if we were using it within so many hours of when it had last been tested.

  • Does it have to be a hotel with a hot tub, what about a self catering cottage with a hot tub - we've recently been to one in the Lakes and it was great - probably too far for you (tho you could fly to Manchester) but thought I'd post anyway for anyone else who happens to be looking here or in case you are up in that area ever

    Its www.monkhousehill.co.uk

Your holiday likes sound similar to mine - i'm into hot tub hols and fancy going to the Ice Hotel too, tho my OH just laughs at me when I suggest it as I'm cold at home with the central heating full on.

do what we did - buy a hot tub off ebay, fill the freezer with bags of ice, the fridge full of champagne, lock the kids in the garage and enjoy!

we (me and the wife) spent new years eve in the hot tub - it was -6 outside, +40 inside.

    try this for starters:

About to make the decision and book somewhere in the next week or so.

I'd welcome any last minute suggestions. We're loving the private hot tub and spa treatment idea.
