Gidleigh Park Devon might be easier for you to get to,or maybe too near?

your right, probably too near! looks lovely though. Nice and lazy though, not far to travel at all. People from the southwest don't tend to leave devon/ cornwall so wouldn't mind breaking away from that mould!
Some of these hotels look great.Saving and spending in equal measure0 -

Your holiday likes sound similar to mine - i'm into hot tub hols and fancy going to the Ice Hotel too, tho my OH just laughs at me when I suggest it as I'm cold at home with the central heating full on.
Seems to be all the best hotels are in the Lakes. Happy to fly. Was considering a city break abroad, venice, berlin etc. So open to anything.
We did think that about the Icehotel. Pay nearly £4k to be freezing cold!
I'd love to have a log cabin type, I like the idea of relaxing like a king so hot tub is a must.
To be honest compared to the Ice hotel everything seems cheap!Saving and spending in equal measure0 -

I have a list of favourites on my PC of cottages and such like with a hot tub. Here's some from my list (please note that I've not stayed at any of them though so can't recommend or otherwise). Some are ETC rated, others not.

What a list!!
you must have been researching for a while!
So where do you think your going to go? Def not the ice hotel?Saving and spending in equal measure0 -
We've just recently been to a hot tub holiday for four nights in the Lakes (early December) (the Monkhouse Hill place) so not planning a hot tub holiday for a while yet I don't think.
Our next break is to New York (already booked) and then we're planning a beach holiday. After that we may go on a few camping trips - I fancy going on one of these tepee type holidays.
If I had to pick of the links I posted, I quite like The Mews in Hollington or Read Hall Cottage. Just noticed that on the Quilmore website they've got a vacancy for 3 & 4 February as had a cancellation if you are looking for something fairly soon (tho that is midweek).Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End

It is a shame that you are too far from here. My sister in Law chose to get married here after we took them for sunday lunch and they fell in love with the place. The rooms are amazing, the food is amazing and we only have great things to say about the place. We stayed in a log cabin with the hot tub and it was perfect, we left the reception quite early as we had a 1 year old son and i was quite happy to sit in that for the rest of the evening on and off. the brekkie in the morning was something else as well, arhhhhh happy memories.
Think maybe it is time i booked a sundy lunch!!

This site http://www.mrandmrssmith.com/?country_code=gb specialises in boutique and luxury hotels.
You can't search by hot tub availability, but I'm sure some of them must have one!
update: use the search on the line below in Goggle for a better idea of which UK hotels on the site might have hot tubs
hot tub site:https://www.mrandmrssmith.com/luxury-hotels/united-kingdom-hotels
And from www.exclusivehotels.co.uk (some VERY nice looking hotels on here!), there is http://www.southlodgehotel.co.uk/EXCLUSIVE_HOTELS/the_hotel.aspx in West Sussex, that has one room with a hot tub0
