9 ct gold does not have much value on the open markets I'm afraid. It's only 37.5% gold and the rest is other metals. Some countries like India don't recognise it as gold even and are not interested in buying it.
When you buy it new there is always a making charge included in the price which you probably won't ever get back unless the price of gold soars.
