Can be ordered for collection in Cambridge, Newmarket and Ely stores if that helps anyone.
Bear in mind that price may go up again before that, although you're under no obligation to collect in that case.0 -
Be careful, cos it said "In stock" for me, allowed me to reserve it for in-store collection (said available from Wed to Sat, which I've never seen before, I thought they only held it for a day) but then, only when I'd put my email address in for confirmation, the very final screen showed it as being OOS.
They have even sent me the confirmation email, which at the top of the page says "Thank you for your reservation" but then in the main text, states:
The following items were not purchased or reserved
Description Qty
9ct Gold Solid Curb Chain. 242/9830 1
Sorry, currently Out of Stock
So make sure that you definitely do reserve it fully before travelling!! If I start the process again, it still shows that it is available, when it obviously isn't.
Suzi xxEverything I wanna do is either illegal, immoral or fattening! lol :rotfl:0 -
Showing in stock for collection in Romford and Dagenham. It doesn't surprise me that they are in stock in Essex, as we only wear gold the weight of toilet chains! :rolleyes:We could all learn a little something from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.0

we chinese can get it at 99% pure gold and it is sold at the current price on the gold market0

got one for pick up tomorrow in strabane NI. seems very strange the 1/2 oz one is £199, but then again 9ct is even overpriced at that..
24ct is pure gold but is indeed to soft for most jewellery 18ct (75%) is the preferred, 9ct Nine carat gold only contains 37.5% gold, so there is more base metal than gold..
so if you want gold go for 18ct it don't give ya the old green finger or neck ho ho.0 -
I think the point here is the scrap value for 9ct gold is around £6/gram so this should yield between |£50 and £60 profit if sold as scrap. not bad for an hours work if you ask me.:beer:0

Yep it was my post that pointed that out!
I cant understand why people are pulling the op for pointing out such a cracking deal by saying 9ct gold is rubbish - who cares? It costs £135 and you can sell it for over £185 with no effort - whos the mug? You cant lose, wear it or sell it your getting a good deal:beer:0 -
