We phoned Dec 12th to Caernarfon, but i would imagine you would be Wrexham or Chester? They gave us 5th Jan there and then, so that was 3 weeks.
We had an initial phone interview to confirm names addresses etc with OR whilst still at court, and our interviews are tomorrow - so 2 weeks to the day.

Chester is a bigger court - you may get a closer date there, and obviously OR based in Chester too - it could be a quicker process if you opt to go there me thinks.

wxm, please don't worry about the costs for running a car. You have to get to work. If they say they won't allow car running costs you then say 'fine in that case i'll need £x (approx the same amount as running the car) for public transport and taxis.

As you don't own the car they can't tell you that you can't use it.

You can borrow as much as you like when BR, but you must tell the lender that you are BR if the amount you are borrowing is over £500. It does not mean you can only borrow £500. Peachy is spot on.

I actually own my car outright but because I need it to get to work (270 miles per week), I was still allowed to keep it after my bankruptcy. On top of that, you don't technically own your car, so in theory you should be ok.
