If its so legal why isn't it in her name?

    It doesn't have to be.

    ok im confused here??

if my mum buys a car for me to use for work, and i dont give her a penny, just pay the running costs maintenance thats ok??

wxm, please, take no notice of broken hearted, she doesn't know what she is talking about.

Your mum is allowed to use her money to buy a car for you to use and as long a you tell her you are BR you are allowed to pay her back £25 per month.

It's not illegal as long as it happens after your BR date.

If it happens before your BR date you would have to include her in your BR and wouldn't be aloowed to pay her back.

Because you can keep running your own car you have now until they take it back. if it takes a month for that to happen you still need to be able to use it to get to work.

A good mum wouldn't have put you in the situation to start with. When my dad gave me our car he gave it to me outright so its in my name and not a problem.

  • so basically the day after i go to court for the BR , my mum can buy me a car to use for work.

so when filing in the SOA i would put car HP £200? even tho after a few weeks it wouldnt be there?

My mother is good mum thank you very much! she was trying to help me out, if she gave me a car worth £3k the OR would take it and sell it would they not

    You can pay your mum.

Does the HP car definitley have to go back once you're BR?
