Won another tenner on the bingo. Off to donate that and another large wodge of cash to the occupant of the torture chamber and the dentist later today. Lucky lucky me!Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500

Survived the dental torture. Just. Apparently the hygenist is going to recommend that the dentist considers resecting my gum to get to the calculus underneath. However you look at it that really doesn't sound pleasant. Still the appointment to discuss that is three months away.
Ventured into Lidl on my way home and blew £40 on comfort food. It didn't work. CAn't taste a thing and I'm stilll not feelig hungry despite having access to all my favourite junk food.
Tonight is the DDs final school concert. Will be finishing work early to watch them.
Plans for today:- 2 DooYoos (although really not in the mood)
- Tidying cos I did sweet FA yesterday and the place is a major disaster zone already
- Post parcel to Music Magpie
- Scratchcards cos I can withdraw again but only if they're working which they aren't at the mo.

Back again. Currently consuming my second Lemsip Max of the day in the hopes that it'll make things marginally more bearable. So far its not working though. Abandoned school even earlier than normal. Was impossible to move for dumbstruck small children who were amazed that Santa had come to visit them at their school and knew each of their names. Its a shame that they become so cynical just a few short years later.
Have won another free fiver on bargain basement bingo, just waiting for my final game of the day to finish on the off chance I win a wee bit more before withdrawing the cash. Will be persuading OH to play too although he already thinks I'm bonkers.
Suppose its time to transfer the washing to the drier in the hopes that kick starts me into action. I'm not holding my breath though.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -

Charming..... such a delightful picture you paint. Congrats on shifting your first stone, thats a heck of an achievement a fortnight before Christmas. Not that I'm panicking that its only a fortnight to Christmas. Nor does OHs master plan of heading off on his business trip down south half a day early to detour via Bluewater fill me with dread. Oh no siree bob. Not panicking. Not yet. Really I'm not.
Have had my step mother on the phone again *sigh* shes got her menu planned now and a masterplan for the leftovers and another one for Christmas Eve and now shes working on lunch on Christmas eve. She wants our ETA to the nearest 30 minutes and she wants to know how much alcohol we intend drinking and if we'll be okay with Bucks Fizz or if we'd prefer champers. Eeeek. What have I let myself in for. My dads had to redecorate the dining room in preparation and shes had new blinds fitted to make the room look bigger. Only a wrecking ball could do that. So uncharitable of me. I must not get stressed anticipating her spending three days in tears because our failure to have consumed Champers by 06:00 and proceed to stockings by 06:15 was caused by us all being asleep having stayed up until midnight playing whatever game we could get our hands on. It'll be fun fun fun. Am taking an emerency bottle of brandy just in case though. Wondering if one will be enough. Hope my little sis has the same idea.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Survived the school concerts which were lovely right down to the littlest nose picking angel. Abandoned school at 8:30pm. Everythings covered in stray strands of tinsel, its very pretty. Will probably take till lunchtime to sort out but since the place is fully occupied by 9am its going to be staying that way for quite some time.
Woke up feeling nnnuuugh again. Planning to finish the book I started yesterday in the hopes that slobbing around eating tat helps. Did do the ironing but only because DD2 had made an army of Hama Bead snowmen which needed doing before the cat played football with them again.
Have loads of dataa entry to do for the postie people so will get that done next before attempting a shower. Hot water seems to melt the snot only for it to solidify nano seconds later somewhere far more uncomfortable. My head feels like it might explode at any momnet and at this point in time I'll be eternally grateful when it does.
Appear to have more money in my bank account than I should. Am loathe to scrawl a cheque to clear another small wedge off the debt on the off chance that I've written a cheque that I've forgotten about.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
