i am going to have my gym equipment in the same room so i can watch tv and exercise at the same time by swiveling the screen ;)
Now there's an idea... using the stepper and swivelling the screen left and right to exercise the arms! :rotfl:

I've found a few options I was going to look into more:

    X2VGA adapter
    VDigi VD-Z3

Homemade component to vga cable from instructions posted over at xboxscene.

What did you order btw? Easier for the xbox360 as vga is one of its recognised outputs :)

well what happened last year was my brother bought an lcd screen for his house, and well my plans were to originally get a projector for the garage, and connect the xbox to either of those via component... so i ordered the MS hd component cable via ebay since it has to be imported [not released in this country]... anyway now i am bought a cable that connects to the component [3 phono] and on the other end of the cable is a vga port....

now i have asked at the xs forum and well fingers crossed when i get it in the post... should have it this week....

the 2 that you mentioned are very expensive... seen them for about £45 or so....

Mmmm, projectors are a different kettle of fish, they use d-sub connectors for thier inputs/outputs which are selectable in the projectors menus. Although the lead has component (3xrca's) on one end and a d-sub on the other i'm positive a transcoder is needed to get from component to VGA :(

    example

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and hope the electronics recognises & accepts component input on the d-sub at the rear.

    Cheers
