I purchased one of these from Staples last year when they were a bit more expensive! They look exactly like the Bush models Argos are selling for 400 notes. Excellent value for money in my opinion.

I think its the rebadged version of this:
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5292150/Trail/C%24cip%3D36693.Sound%2Band%2Bvision%3EC%24cip%3D36785.Televisions%3EC%24cip%3D36787.LCD%2Bflat%2Bpanel%2Btelevisions.htm
That is pretty good value as it is, but for £299! Bargain. Have to go find me one of these. Have been looking for a tv around that size, but I didn't want to pay £400 for it.0 -
Whats the performance like on this as a PC monitor? Do you know if staples have their 20% off for teachers at the moment?0

Anyone have any opinions of this versus the 19" Widescreen Samsung monitor (deal on here a while back) from pcworld?:

Not sure which is best to go for.0 -

The 26" one sounds ok, and the extra 7" makes it a winner for me!!!
But that's IMHO of course!!
Trying to get one of these for the bedroom.... Would look great bolted on the wall!!!

My guess is that it wouldn't be that great as a PC monitor. The resolution seems quite low for 26 inches and I would imagine it might not look too sharp.0 -
Does anyone know whether this TV has a component-in socket?0
-
Ok, thanks. I'll probably go for the PC world one then. That has component-in.0

In the spec it does have "DVI in" Is that any good to you??
I wondered about component as well, but as it's for the bedroom, and I only have a cheap Panasonic DVD player with no component I'm going for it!Be an amateur! Professionals built the Titanic, amateurs built the Ark!!
