I did a bad thing
I just lost £10 on a bingo site (stupid stupid stupid) so now I'm going to have to spend month or so replacing the £10 doing the free scratchcards. I am banned from playing bingo. I can't be trusted, obviously!
From tommorrow I am going to concentrate on building up my free scratchcard wins to £10 so I can withdraw the money.
I will not be tempted to spend any accumulated winnings on scratchcards or bingo.
That's it.. it's written down now. I have to do it. I have 4 free scratchcard memberships with various sites, so potentially can build up to £40. That's a months payment to my 'christmas savings' account, which would free that £40 to pay off something else. Best of all worlds.
To keep me on track I shall keep a note of my totals:
TAB=£1.61
Virgin= £1.61
Littlewoods= £1.55
Yahoo= £1.81
Total= £6.580 -
Today BF abd I are taking a little trip to York, as it's usually nice to have a little walk around but not necessarily spend anything! well, there is always Poundland if the shopping urge is irresistible!0

Just sold a book on Amazon, will get £38.64 for it :j:j
Must be strong and pay £30 off of a credit card rather than frittering it away.
So, as soon as it clears then I will transfer £30 to HSBC card. And maybe I will buy a bottle of wine with £8.0 -
Whoo hoo! :dance:
A letter came through from our gas company today saying they owed us £230. I gave them a ring 'cos it sounded a bit bizarre and it turns out they have been overcharging us for the last 3 years as it was mostly estimated bills, so they are refunding us £200!! :dance:
(ps. I may copy and paste this on other threads so I don't have to type it all again, lazy I know but how many different ways are there to say I'm getting some money?! Whoo hoo! :dance:)

My simple plan update:
- Keep a track of all my incomings and outgoings All spreadsheets up to date. Haven't needed my overdraft this month, or last month
- Make at least one overpayment to a debt per month Overpayed HSBC credit card and BF this month
- Always think 'do I NEED this, or WANT this?' before I buy anything. Have been slipping a little on this. Tending to 'waste' money on junk food. Haven't made any big purchases though... Thinking about getting a little notebook I can carry round with me so everytime I think I want something I can right down what is is and how much it costs then look around for a cheaper option: whether that is buying it online to get cashback or just finding a different shop which sells it cheaper or BOGOF or whatever.
- Always look for a cheaper option. I do always look for a cheaper option
Have saved a good amount on B&C insurance at the start of this month. :dance:
