    As you say, easy peasy!:p:p

If only!! But I would love to get back to sub 60minute 10 milers so its well worth the effort!:D:D

The intervals are done on the roads. This is the one for tonight - check out the elevation profile!

I thought it was me! When you say "check out the elevation profile" I thought it would be hilly, but when I opened it up it is dead flat. Duh, stupid me, you don't do intervals on hills. :o (They are called hill reps if you do).

    You do look good Chick!

*sammy sneaks back out before Becky finds her cos she has been the hairdressers and looks seriously glam and doesn't want to ruin it by running....*

I must have this running bug really bad sammy; I'd booked a half days leave today to get my hair cut and coloured and then took the whole day so that I could get a run in this morning before I went!!! I've also booked next Friday off so that I can bring my Sunday run forward (12 miles) coz I'm going away for the BH weekend - hooked or what??? At this rate most of my annual leave will be used for running purposes this year :D

    Today's run was great - I love running in the rain - 4 miles 00:39:11 (09:37/mile)

EC - I used to run on the treadmill but now I've ventured outside there's no going back. Outside is much more fun!!! :j

Simply - that's it you really are hooked! There's no going back now! :p So next Friday will be your longest run to date then. Almost at the Half Marathon point at 12 miles. That is brilliant progress, you must be really pleased with how it is going.

Becky - good to see you, hope you are feeling OK. We know there is something seriously amis with you hun, you always enjoy hill reps .

Hi Chick - yes, it will be a first attempt at 12 miles and weirdly I'm looking forward to it. I feel as though I've been coming on here reporting 4 mile runs forever but I'm pleased with what I've achieved so far thanks to the brilliant training plan Becky prepared for me. :T You wait until I'm on here reporting 5:33/mile :rotfl::rotfl:Ha, ha, you'll have a loooooong wait!!

Hi Becky - hope you're not climbing the walls (or sneaking out for any runs). A weekend of pampering sounds nice. :D

Not just me thats daft then....I am looking forward to my run later...not as much as Simply though.

Becky you MUST MUST listen to your body - although you sound like you are seriously suffering.

Becky, I am worried about you. I agree with Sammy, listen to what your body is saying. Get yourself on the train, have some good food and let OH do some running around for you. Have a great weekend, enjoy the rest. You have worked so hard recently and you have really earned some time out. Don't feel guilty, the roads will still be there when you are ready to pound them again.

    xx
