Missed out on the intervals last night, but decided to nip out for a run today instead. Mapped out a nice 8-miler on mapmyrun and have just completed it in 1:15. Had to stop as well to give a little old lady directions to somewhere, realised I had made a mistake and ran back up the hill after her to put her right, so that was probably 2 1/2 minutes in all. I reckon that is about around 9:10-ish per mile. It felt comfortable too so I'm happy with how I'm running at the moment.

  • Well after another gruelling lunch time circuit overloading on arms and core, i think i amventure out tonight after work aswell and see how the legs feel.
Like i said in one of my previous posts iv been told to aim for 2km in 9 minutes which is the pace of the bleep test( i just find the test a little bit harder), so im going to try for that push hard for the first 2km then recover at my normal pace for the next 3km, see how i feel then may repeat it to see if i can beat the time, if i do repeat it it will be my first 10km outside so sort of looking forward to it.
Hope everybody had some good lunch time running!

Well done Chickadee on a very enjoyable sounding run! It sounds like you're getting the rewards for some good solid training since xmas.

Good luck JJ on the 10K and Becky on the gentle 6 miler.:D
