Can anyone confirm that the pantene points offer works on the minis which are around £1.26? Could do with some for mini 'cheer up' hampers I'm doing, but the points would be a bonus :)

Also, I need to return an item to store, got the FCUK set in sale for OH for V day but he wants an xbox game now  But I paid in points, I have the receipt, so does it just work like an ordinary refund? Never returned something bought with points before :)

    TIA

Just a thought would you be better off selling the FCUK set on EBAY and using the money from it for the game? The Tin was on there for £20 + £5.99 p&p might be better than refund and you can't use the points for the game.

  • You can? brilliant. Thank you so much :A

    xx

Sometimes it's cheaper not to do the 3 for 2 offer though and buy items individually if you have enough blinkies.

For example if you were buying 3 items at say £7 each, on 3 for 2 this would be £14, minus blinkie = £9
If you bought all three items indiviually they would be £7 minus blinkie = £2, three lots of £2 is £6 so you'd be saving £3...

Generally if the items you are buying are more than £10, 3 for 2 then blinkie works out cheaper, but if they're less, you'd be better off buying seperately...

Hope that makes sense - it's just worth trying to work it out before you buy!

I got a pair of them yesterday using my blinkie.. Use your blinkie and they cost very little.. (or do your stores not carry them?)

No my store doesn't do any of the hand stuff. They cost more than one blinkie do they? Would someone like to swap them for 2 blinkies then? THanks

Sandra - I hope your son gets well soon, my thoughts are with you both.

I am still waiting for CS to get back to me about the delivery driver letting himself into my house, they launched an investigation but havent been able to speak to him as he has been on holiday but he is back today. I just want it all sorting now.

Amazing how .com are OOS on some items but they are still able to send out replacements if an item is damaged, it seems hit and miss as to what CS do about dmaged deliveries, i only ever get told to send it back and await a refund, where as others get compensation, to keep the item and a replacement or both. I really must be more pushy next time, if anything arrives damaged which is highly likely with .com.

I agree, I thought that the chocolate slabs were OOS as they don't show up as available to order on my fqvourites and yet when the CS lady checked yesterday she said they were in stock and that she would send some more out to me to make up for the fact that the other ones all fell out into the box with all of my other items. Wonder whether they're sending me bits now that they've not fulfilled other people's orders which is a bit off!

Sandra - Hope your Ds is better soon.

Just in case anyone missed this on the end of the last thread - someone mentioned the only item they had wanted in the sale was an In the Night Garden Go Glow light. I managed to pick one up with this person in mind but can't remember who it was (despite looking ) if anyone can remember who it was or if it was you - please pm me. (Please do not pm me to ask for it if I can't find OP as I have already promised it someone else;))

    Thanks

In the Wakefield store, i was there before it opened and a women came to wait and said that there was people in the store but the doors were locked, this was before it opened. I think it will have been staff, there wasn't that much left. Normally i wouldn't begrudge the staff getting bargains but i do in that store, as most of the staff are horrible.

I can just imagine all the staff running around the store, like that cereal advert, saying "no sorry madame, that ones broken, I'll take that for you" R.E all the best buys haha :D
