I managed to get a L'oreal GWP and the 17 clutch bag GWP free without buying the products. I thiink the SA let me have them cause I had already complained about a pink coloured foot care gift pack which had a Christmas gift sticker on but was not going through as reduced. They had actually peeled off the stickers on the other ones but not the one I had. Anyway, they wouldn't let me have it at 75% off as they said it is something they sell all year long and not just Christmas. I bought one already for £3 in the sale last week but was unable to get this one today!!!

    I bought 5 Pantene sachets
    pkt of wine gums
    L'Oreal GWP
    17 GWP

    Total £5.35
500 points and 1 blinkie earned!!!

Pink foot gift-I saw this too. It was amongst the normal stock, but had a green parcel sticker on it, so checked but it was full price-darn! Thought I was in luck then...:rotfl:

    Hi everyone
would just like to say i love this thread. I have been ill since before Christmas (extreme anaemia) and haven't been able to do much, so I've been reading this thread a lot. It cheered me up! Thank you all.
My first day out since before Christmas was on Wednesday to (guess where!) Boots!!!
I got my hubby to take me in (he thought I was mad) and I managed to get some good things in the sale, though the SA wouldn't let me pay with points. That was a shame as I have quite a lot to spend and it would have helped a lot.
I am useless at the normal glitches etc. Whenever I try I end up spending a fortune, and I haven't the nerve to argue.
I'm in Lincoln, by the way, anyone from my area?
Thanks again for keeping me amused and thanks to all who keep it updated.

    Lynne

Can anyone confirm that the pantene points offer works on the minis which are around £1.26? Could do with some for mini 'cheer up' hampers I'm doing, but the points would be a bonus :)

Also, I need to return an item to store, got the FCUK set in sale for OH for V day but he wants an xbox game now  But I paid in points, I have the receipt, so does it just work like an ordinary refund? Never returned something bought with points before :)

    TIA

I was in Edinburgh Fort this morning and noticed a staff memo up behind the tills saying that staff were to encourage customers to use their blinkies up on the 3-4-2 and clearance No7. There was some sort of reward for the staff member that looged the most blinkies in but even better, when a customer used a blinkie they were allowed a go at the "Lucky Dip" box. This The Lucky Dip box was full of all sorts of old GWP.

So ...I wanted lunch so I bought it, two Pantene sachets and some reduced chewing gum. Got 200 and a few odd points plus Blinkie. Got three Hair Spritzer, paid 88p plus Blinkie. Got GWP as above from Lucky Dip box. (I got a L'Oreal one in a black and gold box, with three skincare samples, lipgloss, eyeliner and foundation samples.) Still have 200 points to spend. So for an overall outlay of £4.00 I got the lunch I was going to buy anyway, chewing gum, two Pantene sachets, three bottles of hair spritzer and a GWP. Not a bad morning of Bootsing, considering I was only in there for three minutes!
    What fun!!

    Liverpool Speke Retail Park

Just been to Speke as I needed to get some stuff from GAP for the twins next door in their sale (some nice kids stuff and good prices)

The sale stuff now consists of some wrapping paper (and even that seems to have taken a big hit) some bows some pig key rings and those dog bookends that nobody wants . We have now cleaned them out of the last of their chocolate coins - it was worth it for 5 minutes peace.

The shelves that the sales stuff was on is now filling up with sun tan cream (some hope)

There are still some bits of No 7 reduced creams, that are either just below or just above the blinkie threshold and some self tan stuff that has turned up from somewhere in a stand by itself marked last chance to buy. They have also got more of the new blusher and are re stocked with the GWP so that was another blinkie used up

The place was empty and there is still a good stock of half price perfume sitting there looking for a home. Nothing I would rush back for mainly celeb stuff.

    snipped......
I went on Friday..( I had a voucher for Gap saw some nice stuff in the sale but thought I would get better value in Cheshire Oaks..how wrong I was everything is nearly full price in the outlet!)

Missed the choc coins when I was there! Did see some reduced Roc sets and missed the reduced No7 ..good job really as I had changed bags ( so had no vouchers:o ) and it was an impromptu visit. The no7 accessories were all reduced...well the SEL were reduced but not an item to be seen. I think I missed the stuff as the store was much bigger than I am used too!

Perfume giftsets on Friday said 1/3rd off so didn't even have a gander wish I had a closer look now...... as Cheshire Oaks had some normal perfumes reduced. Managed to get DH Givency Iressistable(sp) Summer cocktail 100ml for £15 so I am deffo in the good books:p

Also been finding Bergasol ( my fave:D )on the normal shelves with a SEL of £3:p normally on sale nearer the £12 mark so chuffed with that.

This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.
