You could try- but I guess its pot luck- and guess it depends on the SA. Personally I would give customer services a call and have a moan, see if they can do anything- not done that before so don't know, but at the very least would be cathartic!:rotfl:
  • Hi I'm new to Boots points but have been watching the thread with interest. I find it all a bit confusing but have read the first couple of posts a number of times trying to get to grips with it.

Anyway I went into Boots today to try and spend my points but didn't realise you can't part pay with cash so didn't spend them. The item I'd like is £72 and I have £38 in points. I need to try and up my points total. I failed miserably because I forgot to buy my daughters neurofen at Boots so missed out on double points for it :o .

Also I bought tissues, toothpaste and some muscle gel(?) for my son and it came to about £10 and didn't get a points voucher. Should I have been given one? Is it only when you buy certain items? I also used my first blinkie which I found on my son's bedroom floor so got a night moisturiser which was reduced to £8.20 for £3.20. Because I used a Blinkie is this why I didn't get given another one?

Does anyone know how I can join the health club on-line? I can see how to join the parent one but can't see where to join the health. Would it be worth me joining the parent one? My DD will be 2 in March but I don't use nappies, wipes, baby shampoos etc so I guess they won't send me any extra general points things or would they?

Thanks and sorry for having so many questions which have probably been asked a million times before.

I doubt it though, that starts wednesday - surely they want rid of the stock and the best way is on their website - I live in hope!

Hi - I actually got one of these on the first day of the sale for £3!!!!! The SA changed the price manually!!! I am going to call up customer services tomorrow and check whether they should be removing these Christmas stickers and selling at full price as it seems wrong to me!

I also got the Bach kit price overridden as originally £10 green parcel sticker, scanned at £7.xx got for £5 (when half price was on - shouldda waited till 75% )
