  • Visited B's in Arena Coventry not much left of the 75% items... very few bits (nothing worthwhile)and wrapping paper...

Also not much on No 7 but a few suntan creams on clearence...

However, as posted b4, some of the Herbal Essence is on 1/2 price to £1.46 for 400ml bottles with 100pts on each bottle back (added automaticlly onto advantage card) so 46p spend for a 400ml bottle not bad... they also had some of the small bottles of 200ml reduced to 88p (but none in stock) with 100pts back so in actual fact Mr B's giving one 12pts to take it away, lol!;)

  • Instore 90% off sale starts on the 28th I think, so .com excess stock may be sent to stores for that, though I have a feeling it may be sent to boots clearance stores, if it doesn't go back online

Also I bought tissues, toothpaste and some muscle gel(?) for my son and it came to about £10 and didn't get a points voucher. Should I have been given one? Is it only when you buy certain items? I also used my first blinkie which I found on my son's bedroom floor so got a night moisturiser which was reduced to £8.20 for £3.20. Because I used a Blinkie is this why I didn't get given another one?

If your cash spend was over £5 after the blinkie had been removed, then you should have been given another.

Not too sure what points voucher you're on about?

    ...didn't get a points voucher...

Does anyone know how I can join the health club on-line?

Would it be worth me joining the parent one? My DD will be 2 in March but I don't use nappies, wipes, baby shampoos etc so I guess they won't send me any extra general points things or would they?

You can earn a blinkie aslong as total is £5.01+ after a blinky, does your reciept not say something like "uk voucher earn £0.00" on it? Maybe sa forgot, sometimes you have to ask!

    HEALTH CLUB

You can be a member of parenting club till they are 2. They do a 500pt on £15 baby dept spend which still may be useful :)

If your first shop (the tissues, toothpaste and muscle gel) came to £5 or over, you should have got a blinkie when you paid cash for those (you don't get blinkies if you pay with points). Some SA's have to be reminded to give them to you - I usually say something like "can I have my No7 voucher please, as I've spent over £5".

But, if you bought a night moisturiser with your tissues, toothpaste, and gel, all in the same transaction, and paid with a blinkie and cash, the total of your shop would have had to be £10 or over for you to get another blinkie (as the blinkie takes off £5 from the price, if you see what I mean).

There was about 8 massive long empty shelves racks in my store today (carlisle), and they hadnt even attempted to put other stock out.

They were all clean and had some SEL waiting to be put out on 1 lot of shelves but i couldnt see to see what it was.

I did notice that all the toys that originally had (and still do) green parcelled stickers on are now FULL PRICE and mixed in with all the normal toys, i had a few items checked.

If they fill all those shelves with 90% stock i will be in my element, but TBH with all the horror stories of people pushing and shoving etc i wouldnt want to risk it this time. A few cheap lippies is not worth it.

I hope shops arent runnning out of blinkies just yet, i have some more shopping to do next week which i would normally do online but i am doing instore specifically for the blinkies. If theres no blinkies then i'd rather order online and get extra points.

Also boots now seem to be doing BEN 10 and DORA party ware, ie plates, napkins, party bag toys, invitations. It looked like they were awaiting more brands as there was more SEL and space left in the middle.

Thanks I searched for ages to try and find out where to sign up. I'll sign up for the parenting one then because I buy their clothes sometimes. I didn't check my recipet. Yes it came to over £10 after the blinkie. I don't know which sort of voucher I should have got but never mind I'll know for future reference.
