Oh, lucky you!! Is it a bronzing set?? If anyone sees these around Manchester, can they PM me? Or if anyone has one going spare.....!

    S xx

Hi yes it's a bronzer - well worth £1 as they had the individual ones on the next shelf with no brush for alot more!!!

As I paid with points that I got from a 250 No 7 voucher means was free for me also!!!!:T

oh. it was the pending one that i really wanted had the no7 big makeup case thing and everthing aw well fingers crossed you never know
I'm guessing the pending one is unsuccessful, the being processed one should be ok, payment is not taken until just before items are dispatched, you should be get an e-mail telling you when payment is taken

    HTH

CS refer to all the items in your basket as the 'pending' order.

I heard this repeatedly when I had to keep ringing them over the refugee items that were squatting in my basket for a month. They (CS) were commenting on my large pending order which was in excess of £3,600.00

I was fed up trying to explain that it wasn't a pending order, it was nothing to do with me and would they please get rid of them, as I really did not need 99 x FCUK mens weekend bag and all the other stuff. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: HTH

Hiya, Just 2 little tiny questions, if anyone knows (a little distraction from the monstrosity that is "the 2009 Boots Sale" - aaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrggghhhh).
    Does anyone know:
    1. Can you use a blinkie on the No7 Illuminated Make-up Mirror?
    2. Is the mirror very bright (i.e. brighter than a normal lamp) ? (It's just, I've seen one in a *local chemist* for £12.99 and the only difference is the light).
    Thanks x
  • not got pending orders in basket but in order history is this better than the basket

My order is still saying - ''your order is being processed''

BUT its due to be delivered tomorrow.
The payment hasnt been taken yet but the delivery date is still showing as the 23rd January.

How many people have had next day delivery items NOT turn up the next day?

Thanks sandrascarlett for finding that info on the gift card compensation. I shall be using this as a point of referenece with regards to a few other on going issues boots are currently investigating for me. If a cancelled order is worth £25 then i will not be getting fobbed of with 500 points.

I really hope the new voucher if there is one once the blinkie runs out if for something i will never use like olay or ROC then i can have a boots break for a wee while.

  • Hi all!

Had my 1st boots shop today after 5 weeks! (they even sent me a mailing while I was away - must have been missing me!)

    Only a little shop:

    6 x various HE conditioners 73p each
    1 x HE shampoo 73p

    Total points = 700 :D
    Still lots on the shelf!
Also picked up this little wallet with a panda on it and a lipgloss inside it for £1.22

Lots of junk at the back by the perfume in Brent Cross. If you're after reduced Model.Me products there's loads at the back! Also wrapping paper and baby stuff (like dummies, cups and bottles).

    HTH :D

    O no7 reduced stuff:

    - suncare from £3.xx
    - face creams from £8.xx
    - rainbow eye pallete £8 (insane!!!)
    - nail polish £3.xx
    - tropical (hummingbird) eyeshadow (from agesssss ago!) £5.87
    - perfume, highlighter & lipgloss trio trinket set (xmas 2007!!!)

The No7 mirror IS NOT very bright IMO, i ended up returning mine. I really really wanted it but it ended up winding me up and i soon went back to my other £1 land mirror.

A few other people have also returned theirs saying there not that bright and SOOOOOO many have returned them as they have been faulty.
