Am new to all the Boots codes so am guessing that a Blinkie is a voucher - like the one Ive got for £2.50 off No 7? Only problem is I dont use Boots No7! Anyone know if there is anything for £2.50 or £5 type price as could get something for a friend/family?

If not Il try to give it to someone at work?

    Hi,

A blinkie is a £5 off voucher which works when you buy No7 or Ruby&Millie products instore. You get this particular voucher when you spend more than £5 on pretty much anything in a Boots shop, its given to you at the till.

Your voucher is different, but can be combined with a blinkie when buying a No7 product.

There are No7 and Ruby & Millie products which aren't cosmetic or skincare - I printed off a list which another member here posted - it includes -

No7 Ultimate File & Buffer compact £4.89 (I bought one of these with a blinkie - it looks lovely, in a little gift case)
    R&M various individual make-up brushes - from £3.43 to £4.40
No7 Make-up sponges or exfoliating sponges (these are under £5 each too)

At the moment, instore, there are also lots of No7 suncare clearance products, which you can use your No7 voucher on - and No7 is on 342 until next Tuesday as well. I got 3 Protect & Perfect Glossy Locks Hair Spritz yesterday at my Boots, on 342, for £5.66 total. It smells heavenly :D

    Hope this helps,

Thanks to those who mentioned about their local Boots Pharmacy having some reduced items. Why I didn't think of going there sooner I don't know. I think because it's only recently changed to Boots from being a Alliance Pharmacy I always forget it's a Boots.
I popped into my store in the village yesterday just to kill my curiosity and to also tell myself it wasn't meant to be getting any bargains in the Boots sale this year.

But lo and behold, I saw 2 lonely No7 for men sets. Woo hoo.

DH was in the car and I quickly ran out and asked him to come in and see if it was worth getting or not. Sat on the very top of the No7 unit, lucky DH is taller than me so he managed to reach both boxes of the NO7 for Men Skincare Starter Gift Set £2.93 each. He's quite up together on the No7 for men prices and said that the Anti Ageing Balm SPF15 in the set was at least £12 to buy on it's own & it also had the face scrub included as well.
I popped into my normal Boots store during my lunch break today and was happy to see that DH got the price of the Balm correct, give or take 50p.

The lady in the local store didn't give me a blinkie as said she scanned their thing next to the till and if I was entitled I would of got it, has anyone ever taken their receipt that shows a £5 or more spend to another store and been given a voucher ?

can anyone please explain to me how 2 use these blinkie things. have read through all the first threads but still cant work it out thanx.

    Hi,

Oh there are loads of ways of using them at the moment :D

From now until next Tuesday, No7 is on 342, including their clearance ranges. You can combine clearance, 342, and pay with a blinkie, so effectively, you pay for your 2 most expensive No7 products of your choice, get the 3rd one free, and get £5 off the total by handing over a blinkie.

I have bought a shedload of No7 (nearly all clearance and 342) with my blinkies in the past fortnight or so. Clearance Hair spritz, clearance lip and eye screen, file and buffer compact, 4-in-one wipes, clearance day cream, clearance night cream, you name it really, and with a blinkie, none of it came to more than about £1 per transaction - mostly I was only pennies over the £5.

Also, if you want to wait until next Wednesday, when the new No7 GWP comes out, you won't get 342 anymore, but if you spend £18 on No7 and pay with a blinkie (so you actually fork out £13) you get the GWP free.

just a quick q.....if you buy 3 premium beauty products, and there's 1000pts offer when you buy 3, do you still get your normal points?

    I.e

    x3 products £50
    1000pts from offer
    200pts normal

I should know the answer to this but can't think straight today :o

Sorry if I am repeating old news (I have been skimming through the last couple of pages ...) but I just phoned Boots to ask if my order went through from this afternoon.
Everything seemed to go through ok, payment details completed etc, then I got an error.
Anyway, nice chap on the phone confirmed that although he could see my order and it was 'pending', it won't be going through.
He also said that the 75% sale has now been taken off the website for good.
I didn't think to ask him about the 90% sale but looks like that won't be happening ....

Don't know whether this has been posted before, but I've just opened the l'oreal GWP and it has 2 vouchers, £2 of points when buy extra volume collagen mascara and £2 of points when buy excell 10 creme colourant - both vouchers valid until 03.03.09

and thanks to another poster I got the gwp on a spend of £9.86 (wrinkle de-crease with £6 off):j

    Its pants isn't it?
Thing is, I was looking at the toys, and Boots is so expensive at full price they're going to be left with shedloads of stock, cos no-ones going to pay that price for any of it  .

    Hi all !

I have two orders. I had a confirmation for second one but not for the first one. But i was just wondering to anyone who has ordered what does your status say ?

mine says: Your order is being processed for both. Is this good or bad ? Can they still put the prices back upto full price?

    EDIT:

Also when i click on my order numbers at the side of all my items it says 're order' does this mean i wont recieve them?! grrrrr

    !
    thanks!

My two orders also have Your order is being processed. When I looked before the site crashed it was just We have received your order. I got both confirmation e-mails minutes after placing orders.

When I bought 2 Urban Decay products yesterday in the 500 points offer I didn't get the normal points for my purchase, just the 500, so I would assume this would be the same.

Yes, i've had to do it twice. Both times i used different stores to the ones where i'd made the original purchases.
