Not so SA, as it happens the benefit rules have changed and unless the job centre are informed then they can indeed make her apply for the new ESA and not income support due to incapacity as everyone will be coming off this at some point or other. If she stays on it then she'll be allowed to keep it until the change over (2012 i think but not 100% sure) but if she terminates a claim and leaves a gap she will be on ESA which is more like JSA. Look on the JCP website for info.

Oh and there's an access to work programme run by the job centre, they pay my epileptic colleagues taxis!
