Personally, I would report it to the police.

This situation could escalate and as you say you could have your daughter in the car next time. I wouldn't wait for that next time.

I wouldn't have thought my ex would have condoned it, even though he doesn't see the baby I'm sure he wouldn't want her to come to any harm.

I did try to contact him to tell him what they did but his mobile won't connect.

I don't want to get back at my ex or get anyone into trouble but it was so dangerous and frightening.

Calling the police isn't going to get anyone in "trouble" - it's simply the right thing to do. The police deal with stuff like htis all the time.

Call them now whilst it's still fresh in your mind.
"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."

yep - definately report it to the Police and leave them to deal with it however they see fit. Shame you didn't get your mum to video it on a mobile (not that I'd have been quick enough to think of that when it was happening !) May be worth a thought should anything similar happen in future.

You can't let them bully you Magpie. If it looks like they got away with it this time what does that tell them? how do you know they wouldn't do it - or something worse again?

they know your car, who's to say they won't tamper with it and what the effects of that might be?

The driver showed a complete disregard for the safety of you and anyone else in the car, not to mention anyone else who could have got caught up in an accident, had one happened. It could have caused a pile-up with multiple deaths!

It's their own fault if they get into trouble - they didn't have to do what they did.

    Keep us posted!
  • The only thing I can say is that if this was my situation, I would report to the employer and the police. Without knowing the full story this is highly intimidationg behaviour - have not had this sort of thing personally but know people who have - and needs nipping in the bud immediately before it escalates. I would show him that in no uncertain terms are you a force to be reckoned with. Good luck and don't let it get you down:)

You should have dialled 999 while it was happening as they could have monitored via the cameras until a unit arrived. It's not too late to report to the police and I would do so immediately without bothering to contact their employer. The police will do that to establish who the vehicle was booked out to, who was driving etc. Without evidence though they will probably just get a warning.
