whats the big fuss???...these will be £99 in about 8 months time

are you my wife?............lol!! yeah and if you waited and waited for stuff to get cheaper you'd never buy anything.......................there are also rumours that with the launch of the 10" version later this month, they will stop shipping this model, therefore it may not be available in 8 months time...........

I saw an advert for that product on TV a few days ago, and was astonished anybody would buy such a product.
Do people not realize that all of the functionality offered by that product is already built-in to Windows =|

Remote desktop & file sharing through a VPN, both relatively easy to setup & more importantly - free.

As to your problem - I suggest you contact the product supplier & tell them what your OS, browser & java version you are using,

Can anyone point me towards the easiest set of idiot proof instructions for installing XP on one of these. I've got XP Home on my desktop with disc plus an 8gb Sandisk Cruzer USB flash drive. Thanks

I managed to reserve one of these at Cortonwood (nr Barnsley) yesterday and collected it today. I forgot to ask whether they had any more in stock, but it sounded like they'd just arrived in yesterday, as the woman went to the warehouse to check - so still worth trying local stores, you never know!

I went in and asked at Cortonwood CS this afternoon and they said they didn't have any in stock. :(

taken from poster on another forum 2hrs ago.....

'....calling Kings Hill branch paid off, they had 7 in stock according to the Entertainment desk. When I drove the 60 mile round trip, they did indeed have them locked away behind the desk, and they were the 3301/160GB versions. Bought one at £150.
