    God Luc that's awful :grouphug:

It's amazing what people go through and still come out the other side as decent human beings.

It always horrifies me to hear from people I know that they've been through similar. It's almost like I feel that by because I have been abused/assaulted that those I know and love are somehow protected by the law of averages IYSWIM

And I have come out fairly normal:p

Well, I've sent D an email (can't ring cos he's working) explaining how I feel about having some kind of weird half-relationship with him, and basically saying if he's not ready for a relationship then all I can offer is friendship. I also told him I couldn't meet him for a while at least and that maybe our conversations should be much more platonic from now on.

So I guess it depends how he reacts to that - if he reacts well then I would love to be friends and see what happens. If he reacts badly, or doesn't respect what I've said then I know I have to walk away.

god that sounds soooooo similar to what I've just gone though.

  but you seem very matter of fact about it now.. which is good....

Definitely healthier than the anger and denial phases:p I just refuse to let the !!!!!! ruin my life and I have a lot to be thankful for now which might not have happened if I hadn't gone through the bad stuff to get here

Good - about the lunch not the burp.

    Did you get any prezzies?
  • I had a lovely chicken salad, was lush. And a banana shake.

Gym after work tonight then a CD 'chocolate' bar. Yummy. Then bed.
