So I'm over on the TTC thread now lol. Still feels a little weird!!! But nice to know SK and Nic are there to hold my hand :)

Just found out a friend of mine from work is getting married end of Nov - she's only just booked it! Crikey, I couldn't plan a wedding in 6 weeks lol. Anyways, another wedding for me to enjoy. 5th wedding this year - def the year for weddings. Maybe next year is the year for babies ;)

Hope you are all keeping well x x

Forgot to say, I hope that the job hunting goes well Val - I'm sure something will turn up soon. The maternity policy at my work is nothing to shout about, but I suppose SMP is better than nothing!

Enjoy being a lady of leisure for now - it won't last long till you're back in a boring work routine!

Thanks Sammy, it was good when it started, bored stiff now tho, only so much tidying I can do, also doing a lot of cooking and baking. hubby is gonna end up so fat...hehe

Theres loads of tidying to do at my house val if you're at a loose end:p
We did it the wrong way round dd was born just 11 months after we met:eek: but she's amazing & we are still together :j so it all worked out for the best, I do hope things work out for you all re job's & babies.
We're thinking of maybe buying a house & this will sound really daft but I've no idea if it's possible, or if now is a good time to think about buying. We live in a rented flat & I'd love somewhere with a garden. Oh well best do some research.
    Off to bed now.
Do hope everyone is enjoying married life. Vi xx
    Booo!!!

And after you've tidies V's house, you can come do mine Val lol. But seriously, something will come up soon I'm sure - they keep saying this recession is nearly over  What kind of work do you do?

Violetta, it's worth going to see a mortgage broker to see how much you could lend and take it from there? House prices are really low at the moment, so a good time for first time buyers. We bought our first house 2.5 years ago, and so glad we did. We got tired of renting, and inspections etc etc. We only have a little 2 bed house but we love it. I recommend researching the area as well. We have great neighbours which I'm very thankful for.

DH is still in bed - so no real change from when we weren't married!!

    Hugs to all x
